Valeo VCL Competition Classic 6-Inch Lifting Belt

Valeo VCL Competition Classic 6-Inch Lifting BeltI don''t use it for weightlifting anymore, I use it for my bad back and it works great. It really keeps you from over-extending your back, this is not a medical device but it works great for me.

This is a good quality general fitness belt. I find it is difficult to get the belt really tight. (Like a powerlifting belt.) Granted it is NOT a powerlifting belt. The belt is comfortable to wear and easy to cinch and unhook quickly.

If i had to reorder this product... I wouldn''t. I may send it back too. The belt is "O.K".... It doesnt really have any front support for lifting nor does it secure by way of buttons or in a belt like fashion. Also.... They run a little too small.

I have back issues and bought this belt to use as a back support when working around the house and yard. It does make a positive difference. I believe it gives me better lower mid back support then a not as wide 4" back support belt. I have a 38" waist the X-Large fits well leaving ample room for growth..... It has a nice buckle that makes it easy to get the right tightness. Its made well and should last quite awhile. It''s also washable don''t know yet how well it washes.

I use it daily, not only for doing legs but also for benching and

I use all of Dave''s bands, but this one is truly bad-ass! For all the big boys out there who think bands are for group fitness ladies and weak old men, give these bands a try with one of Dave''s "special" workouts... You''ll change your tune real fast!

These large bands are the best heavy bands on the market. In fact, I don''t even know if there is anything even close in quality to these anywhere. They provide an unbelievable amount of resistance, so they are definitely for people who want to really load up and get in a quality strength session. They can also be used in group training sessions very effectively for partner training.

ASICS Men''s Ecoline Short Sleeve Top

ASICS Men''s Ecoline Short Sleeve Shirt, White, X-LargeThis shirt fits pretty true to size compared to alot of other workout/running shirts that tend to run a bit smaller. I ordered both the red and white colors but had to return the white since it was bit too ''see through'' for my tastes.

Stamina InStride Adjustable Height Cycle

Stamina InStride Adjustable Height CycleI just got a 40hr/week desk job. For two weeks I sat on my ass and felt like the biggest lump of lard. I needed someway to get a workout in while doing my daily job. However, I wasn''t about to conform to the standup desk crowd. This was the next viable option.

I love it. It fits under my desk, and I can literally cycle all day long. Burning hundreds of calories that I normally wouldn''t be at little to no exertion.

My one gripe is with the tension knob. After 5-10 minutes of cycling it slowly untwists about a quarter turn. This means after roughly 30 minutes of cycling the tension knob will have unwound one full turn. This creates a noticeable difference in the force required to pedal. It''s a minor inconvenience for the price of this product, and I am more than willing to put up with it.

I ordered this item to use for therapy after knee surgery. I really like it...it''s very sturdy and doesn''t slide around on the floor. The rubber feet keep it in place on rugs or bare floors. There is a tension knob to adjust foot pressure, but it doesn''t change the tension significantly. The pedals work very smoothly. The unit folds flat to slip under the couch or bed. Overall, a good investment and one I will use for years.

I love this. I can sit on the couch while watching tv and ride it. Put in on the floor and good to go. Then I put it on the table and work upper body.

Thinking about giving it to my dad who is in a wheelchair.

While I am on conference calls I sit and pedal with this product. It is easy to use and fairly silent.

Want Stamina InStride Adjustable Height Cycle Discount?

I ordered this item because I wanted a compact & portable piece of exercise equipment that I could use in various locales around the house. I have a treadmill, but it sits where it sits, and the only thing I can do while on the treadmill is watch TV (which I hate....) What I liked about this item is that I could sit & work on my computer, or do other desk work, all the while pedaling away. The good news is that this little "cycle" is all of those things: I can easily flatten it down after using it, and stow it under the kitchen counter. I can put it up on a table or counter to work out my arms if I wish. I can carry it around the house with one hand & put it wherever I feel like using it. And it was cheap.

The bad news? It''s cheap. The tension is adjustable, but within a pretty limited range. If you tighten it up past a certain point, it squeaks intolerably. Do not buy this item if what you really need/want is a stationary bicycle -this is no substitute for a "real" bike. The mechanism does not always turn smoothly (despite being well-lubricated), so occasionally the pedals "stick" for a moment & require an extra push to get them moving again.

If you have realistic expectations for this item, and aren''t expecting it to get you into Olympics-ready condition, it is a very satisfactory little "cycle" for its under-$40 price. What I wanted it for was a way to get a little exercise & burn a few calories while doing otherwise-sedentary activities. I am pedaling it right now while I type this review! Note: elderly & mobility-impaired people would probably find this item very useful, as opposed to getting no exercise at all.

Great price on Amazon. The Mat is pliable but solidly thick. I will hold creases for a little while if you fold it over so it is best to roll it instead. I live in an apartment and it does cushion me jumping around so it doesn''t sound to bad below me. It picks up dirt and lint easily so clean it often. I think it will survive all the punishment I plan on giving it for the next year of service.

When on earth are Motorola actually going to fix the TERRIBLE web site they call it "the Portal".

It is buggy at best and every time they "fix" one thing it breaks two existing things.

At the moment, no route maps have been shown for over a month. Nothing has been done and the numerous complaints on the forums and on facebook and direct to Customer Service have all been ignored or fobbed off.

The thing with the MotoActv is that you''re stuck with the terrible "portal" because you can''t get at YOUR data unless you first upload it to their portal.

Then it''s possible to export a very limited, and often faulty, amount of data as a .csv file. No intervals, laps etc..

So.. Matt, as you seem to have deserted the forums.. are you prepared to answer in here? What''s going on? Why the big price drop? Why is the forum being ignored? Why all the problems on the "portal"????

Buy Motorola MOTOACTV 8GB GPS Sports Watch and MP3 Player Now

I purchased the 8GB version of this product from Amazon in December 2011. I consider myself an early adopter. In the beginning, Motorola was very proactive at helping with problems on the device. Specifically, the major problems I have deal with the web portal...the device itself has had some minor quirks but nothing that is a show stopper. I helped Motorola troubleshoot problems with the website up until mid-January. After that, everything worked relatively nicely until early July 2012...about 6 months of the device doing what it was supposed to do. I have not been able to view any of my workouts (even the old ones) since mid-July. I reported this problem to Motorola tech support...they created a ticket and then unilaterally cancelled it. They sent me an e-mail saying the problem was solved when in fact the problem was not solved. I have posted on the Motorola forums. It took weeks to get a Motorola employee to respond to the complaints regarding this issue (I am not alone with it). They still have not proposed a fix. Anytime I do a workout with music (the primary reason I bought this device was so I could have the MP3 player and GPS in one device) I get a message that the website is "unable to process the request". I listen to music during the vast majority of my workouts. The fact that Motorola has cut the price of the device by nearly 50% does not give me confidence that they will continue to support it...it actually makes me think that they are dumping it. The Motorola website is the ONLY way to get your data out of this device. There is no option of directly retrieving your workout data via USB to your computer. Right now, the only thing the device is useful for is playing music (with less functionality than my ipod) and telling me how far I have run. I cannot use the data the device is collecting to assist me with increasing my fitness level and tailoring my workouts. I''m really not sure why Motorola won''t fix the website...they are not providing answers either through tech support or via their forums. The failure of Motorola to launch the wireless headphones/heartrate sensor that they were promising when I originally purchased this device was a huge disappointment, but the inability to get my workout data is a showstopper. If I could return this device to Amazon at this point, I would. Do not purchase this if you want to view your workout data.

I''ve had a MOTOACTV for almost 3 months now, and I''m happier with it than I ever expected to be. I had arthroscopic knee surgery 4 months ago, and my surgeon recommended bicycling as therapy for my knee. When I was clear to start riding, I bought a new bike and a MOTOACTV with Motorola''s heart rate sensor, bike speed/cadence sensor, and bike mount.

I''ve racked up 650 miles since then, and lost around 25 lbs. Part of that is because I really, *really* want to lose weight and get my knee back into shape, but the MOTOACTV has been a huge help. I''m able to track distance and speed for each ride and see my progress, and I''m the sort of person that this sort of thing really motivates. I''m now cycling daily and getting in around 100 miles per week, and feel like cycling and exercise is a comfortable new part of my life. I''ve went from almost completely sedentary to reasonably fit (if still overweight), and I feel like it''s a permanent change, not just a hobby that I''m going to drop when circumstances make me miss a few days.

There are a number of similar devices on the market from Garmin and other manufacturers, as well as phone apps+dongles that can accomplish most of the same things, but for my uses, the MOTOACTV has the best mix of features of anything on the market. Specifically:

The battery lasts for 6-8 hours of active use, or around 2 days of use as a pedometer. Most fitness phone apps that I''ve seen will kill phones in way less time.

It syncs over WiFi, so I don''t have to drag it back to a computer to sync. If I''m not in a hurry to look at results, then I can just wait and it''ll sync on its own every few hours. If I want to look at the results, then ''sync now'' is only a couple button presses away.

It charges over microUSB, so I don''t need to bring Yet Another Charger when I''m traveling.

It''s flexible about how you wear it. You can put it on the big, chunky watch band, or clip it to your belt, or put it on the bike mount, or even shove it in a pocket. I''ve done all of those at different times.

The combination of these mean that the MOTOACTIV has the least *friction* of any fitness device that I''ve used. It Just Works--I don''t have to worry about charging it, or conserving power, or syncing it, or anything. I just plug it into my phone charger every now and then, and it''s good.

Now, it''s not perfect. It''s Motorola''s first attempt at a fitness device, and there are a few weird issues with it. It''s not as waterproof as it should be, the battery doesn''t last long enough for an all-day bike ride, syncing is kinda slow (it syncs ~30 minutes of data per minute, so a 2 hour ride is going to take several minutes to sync). The UI is a bit odd sometimes. The screen can only show duration + distance + 4 other variables at a time while biking, so I can''t show speed, elevation, cadence, time-of-day, calories burned, and heart rate all at once. It''ll sync with Android phones natively, but not iPhones. But, all in all, I''m really happy with it. Motorola has kept pushing out substantial software updates about once per month, and each one adds a feature or two and fixes a bunch of known bugs.

I''m happy enough with it that I''m tempted to buy a second one and keep it as a reserve--if I ever lose or break the first one, then I won''t miss a day or two''s worth of exercise data. I''ve lost a couple fitbits over the past two years, and it''s been really demoralizing, even if I find them eventually.

I rarely write reviews but I think that this unit gets a lot of unfair criticism. I''ve owned the unit for 4 months now and have been quite pleased. First and foremost the support for this is excellent. Despite what other people may be writing there have been 3 firmware updates in the four months and each update has brought notable improvements and added new features. The website has also undergone several improvements as well during that time. Eventually, I think this will evolve into a awesome device. That being said its not perfect. As a background I''m a casual runner (5mi runs) and play a fair amount of golf as well as volleyball, cycling etc

Pro

1. Constant firmware updates and continued support. This can''t be understated. 1mo or so firmware cycles are pretty swift for a general consumer device.

2. Excellent golf GPS. The watch updates every 3 seconds. You need to stand over your ball for 3 seconds to get an accurate distance but as long as you do that you are accurate to within a yard or 2. You get distance to hazards which the lower end garmins etc do not give you. You also get the ability to track your game. From average distance for each club to fairways and green hit to number of putts. You can really break down your game and distance (provided you enter the information when you play). There are something like 20,000 courses and it has all the myrtle beach courses I''ve played

3. Bluetooth capability Once you''ve worked out without the wires you can never go back. You can also get text and phone notifications but I found them annoying

4. Excellent workout tracking and GPSThe device gets quick GPS lock (usually about 15-30 sec for me) and doesn''t lose the lock in my area. I have been in a couple of heavily forested areas and did lose signal there. Planned routes work fine. Note to the earlier reviewer if you select the "follow roads option" it will follow on the roads otherwise it assumes you are doing a cross country route and will just connect your waypoints.

5. World maps. Took a jog in Italy and the streets are all there. Its also great for tracking your travels. I went to Europe recently and all my travels were mapped out on the portal. How many times did I go around the coliseum. Looks like 3. You can annotate your workouts so its like a personal travel journal.

6. Rapid charging. It takes around an hour to fully charge.

7. MP3 player. Nice little music player that holds 16GB of music. Good for trips and workouts. Has playlists and will display album art. If you could make you own playlists on the device it would be perfect as it is you need to sync up with itunes

8. Lots of info especially for the casual athlete. I got the heart rate monitor and I really like being able to put myself in various zones for interval training or endurance. It will give you verbal coaching (basically a voice over the headphones saying you are going too slow or too fast) so you don''t need to keep looking at the watch.

+/-

1. Battery lifeI personally have used it marathon mode all day to track my vacations and can easily play a round of golf (I usually have 60% battery after a 4-5hour round). That being said if you are doing ten hour rides or a full iron man it may not last which is unacceptable in the middle of training/race since you can''t charge it (it does charge fast). If you are en elite endurance athlete or ultra marathoner this is probably not for you. I wear as a watch all day to count my steps/cal and it can go 2 days without charging but not much more

2. LooksI don''t care much for the bulky look but I do get a lot of comments about it and people are always wondering what it does

3. Sweat/rainproof but not waterproofIt would be nice to be able to swim with this watch especially as they have waterproof HR monitors

Cons

1. Web portalmotoactv only syncs with the web portal. You can get the raw data and send it someplace else from there but you can''t skip the portal. The portal is also very slow, particularly if your using an ipad. This can be frustrating especially when you want to go back to a more remote round of golf or workout. This is a big con since you need to do everything through the portal. I''m not micro analyzing my workouts but if I was this would probably be a deal breaker. Its that slow.

2. Can''t view data when paused This is a frequent complaint on the forums and I can''t figure out why they haven''t addressed this. Not being able to check your pace etc when paused makes planning very difficult

I have to strongly recommend against the MotoACTV for any real runners out there.

Personally I really like the device, except for one very fatal flaw:

from

"What type of damages are not covered by my warranty?

Damage and/or performance issues that result from contact with any liquid, water, rain or extreme humidity are excluded from warranty coverage.

Motorola will not repair or replace liquid-damaged products. They will be returned unrepaired."

I''ve had great battery life, run 17 miles with it, kept the screen on the whole time (running in predawn hours it''s fantastic not having to find a light button) and had over 40% battery when done. The GPS quality is very good, usually less than 30 seconds or so to locking. I don''t use the MotoACTV website, as I have a script that automatically grabs the data and converts it ready to post to runkeeper (or any other decent site) and I''m working on a way to automate that completely.

But...

During my first 12 mile run with the MotoACTV my "music" button got stuck on, and I couldn''t navigate away from the music menu. Ok, I disabled the music button. Next run Volume UP got stuck. Disabled that. Then the "back" button on the screen became flaky. Sent it in for repairs, got it back a little more than a week later. First run with it (15 miles) was fantastic. Next run my HR strap quit connecting. Next run same. Next run (17 miles) the "back" button on the screen kept getting triggered, and it self-navigate back to the main watch page. I couldn''t tap the screen fast enough to get the workout page back up fast enough to see how far I''d run. Very frustrating. Of course the "workout" button had stopped working so I couldn''t just press it to get back, and there was no way to stop the workout in the end except turn off the MotoACTV.

So I have now disabled volume up, music, and mapped volume down to workout, and it is still totally unusable after a few miles.

I''m sure all of this is because I have the audacity to sweat while I''m working out.

So Friday my Garmin 910 is arriving and my MotoACTV will be a very cute little paper weight.

10 Minute Solution

10 Minute SolutionI really like some of the fitness options that utilize the wii, however, this is not one. To begin, you can choose a quick start option, custom workouts, or set up your own fitness plan. I went to custom workouts which require you to go through a training session before you ''play''. Quite honestly, this is not a fun game--it is slow, my movements do not read well, and I never raised my heart rate, much less broke a sweat.

You do have some choice of aerobic games (which have nothing to do with cardio boxing) as well as some core work.

I am not impressed with this ''game''. I would rather work out with a fitness DVD; at least it would be more effective.

I was disappointed with this game. I thought it would be a better workout like EA sports active. The music is poor, the moves are slow and too much stopping between sessions. Gold''s Gym is a better cardio boxing and GG records your movements better than this does. Maybe after I use it more and get through all the workouts I will like it better, but right now it is a disappointment

The game doesn''t track well with your movements, making it frustrating to use. Spend a little more and get the EA Sports Active-More Workouts--which is well worth the cost.

Read Best Reviews of 10 Minute Solution Here

As most people know, 10 Minute Solution is a highly popular set of DVDs where you can start and finish a complete exercise routine in 10 minutes. The DVDs each feature an attractive fitness expert on a mat demonstrating different aerobic workouts to you, shouting out instructions and encouragement each step of the way.

I''ll start off by saying that fans of the DVD series expecting a similar experience may be a little disappointed. 10 Minute Solution for Wii seemed to eschew the formula that made the DVDs so popular. Instead of an intimate one-on-one training session with an instructor, it feels like the standard kind of Wii fitness game we''ve seen before, where you just perform a series of repetitious actions with your balance board or Wii remotes to on-screen cues.

As with many games, there is an on-screen "instructor" who''s mainly a shadowy figure in the background, not an active instructor as in the videos. You can choose from "male or female" voices and even "helpful or bossy", but at the end there''s not much personality, just the standard repetitious "way to go!" type encouragement endemic to these kinds of games.

So I suspect that most of the negative reviews here are from fans of the 10 Minute Workout series who were expecting more of the "personality" of the DVD series comes to through in the game.

But having said that, I''ll be focusing my review of the game strictly on its merits as a fitness and exercise game. And in this area, it is a very solid title.

Much like My Fitness Coach, you can select a male or female trainer, music from a set list of generic tunes, and the environment you''ll be working out in (you can choose from a Chinese courtyard, Venice, a Japanese tea garden, a beach, a middle eastern palance, and a gym). The graphics are very well done, and I appreciate the subtle details that help keep the exercise interesting (such as a plane flying outside the window of your gym).

There are basically two different varieties of exercises you can do with your virtual trainer: cardio boxing or step aerobics. For each, you can choose from six different workouts ranging from simple (one star) to advanced (three stars). You''ll find the one-star exercises are far too easy; you hardly break a sweat. On the other hand, when I did the three-star exercises, I got a great aerobic workout, complete with sweating, increased heartrate, and a great feeling afterwards.

There is also a category called "mixed games" which allows you to control your on-screen character in one of four sports simulations: volleyball, badminton, catching a frisbee, or fighting with pugil sticks. As with games like EA Sports Active and The Biggest Loser, you''re not really playing the sport itself--you''re performing a series of cardio boxing or step aerobic moves, and if you hit the moves precisely your on-screen character performs the sports task.

Each exercise is precisely 5 minutes each, so you basically put together your own 10 minute workout each day by choosing two exercises from the sixteen choices.

Until now, Wii Fit has been the one step aerobics title that uses the balance board. This is one area where this game shines. The three-star step aerobics has you doing lunges, squats, and fast-moving splits that are far more complex and a faster pace than in Wii Fit, and all clearly demonstrated with animated footprints on a small image of the balance board.

As far as the boxing, the game has you doing crosses, hooks, jabs, and uppercuts at a really quick pace. As with Gold''s Gym Cardio, a series of icons will scroll upwards, and you need to perform the boxing move when the icon hits a little square. But it surpasses it in a couple ways: the three-star routines can be much more intensive than anything Gold''s Gym has, and unlike Gold''s Gym the beat of the music actually matches your punching (what a concept!). I also like the fact that you can use two Wii remotes instead of a nunchuk--this makes your movements much, much more accurately. I''ve read that a lot of people are having trouble registering the moves, but as long as I''ve used two Wii remotes and made broad, exagerrated movements, I haven''t had a problem.

One of the things I like most about this game is its simplicity. A lot of other games try to stuff in a bunch of fillers and nonsense, such as recipes and dressing up the on-screen characters, all to justify a higher price tag. With 10 Minute Solution for Wii you have three choices from the startup screen: an instant workout (which picks a 5-minute workout for you randomly), a custom workout (where you can pick and choose two 5-minute workouts to make one 10-minute workout), and a fitness plan (where you can mix and match activities for each day of the week for anywhere from a 5-minute to a 30-minute workout each day). I applaud Activision for not being tempted to stuff gimmicks in, and for making the list price a very affordable $19.99.

Again, be sure to go in with the right expectations: it''s not like the DVD series, and it''s not a $59.99 game. As long as you don''t compare it to either of those, you have a pretty solid and very affordable Wii fitness game to add some variety to your workout routines.

NEW INFORMATION: I just learned that Activision has set up a YouTube channel at which features cover model and fitness guru Jessica Smith demonstrating the proper form for the types of exercises in the game. To me, this is what the game was missing. If you do get the game, watching these videos is highly recommended.

I was very excited when I saw the preview for this game... The price was right too. I popped it in and noticed the graphics are a bit well, cheap. I started my first work out of step aerobics and really enjoyed it. Then it moved on to cardio boxing. What a clunky, poorly made game. It barely recognized moves, and if you don''t do a move correctly during the demonstration it makes you do it over and over and over and over and over againuntil the game feels you''ve done it properly...which would be fine if I was actually doing the move incorrectlybut againthe game doesn''t recognize movement the way it should. I figured I would just do the step which is what I got it for anyway...yeah..how I wish.. It has a "squat" move in it which for whatever reason it doesn''t think I do it right, it''s a squat.. I''ve done it on the wii board, off the wii board..it doesn''t care..refuses to recognize that I''ve done it. I''m done with this game, It''s going on Ebay tomorrow. I''d rather do the boring step aerobic "class" & cardio boxing on EA Sports and Wii Fit Plus for 20 minutes.. the graphics, music and recognition is far better.

This game does have a lot of potential..they need to do a lot more work on it..

Ader Vinyl Kettlebell

Ader Vinyl KettlebellI love Ader kettlebells. I''m glad they decided to make a vinyl coated kettlebell. The handle on the Aders is just about the best there is. The handle is textured, but smooth, and the wider width makes it so comfortable for two hand swings. The spacing between the handle and the bell is perfect for cleans and snatches as the bell falls just where it needs to be. The kettlebell itself is sturdy and the vinyl coating protects it from damage and provides more of a cushion on your arm when it''s resting there. Highly recommend this kettlebell.

The handles are smooth (easy on the hands) and the vinyl covering helps to protect my floors.

I''m pleased with the purchase.

Body Champ BRM3671 Cardio Dual Trainer

Body Champ BRM3671 Cardio Dual TrainerWe bought the Body Champ "Cardio Dual Trainer" for use in our cramped basement and it works nicely for our needs, with the following observations:

Setup -

+ Took my son and I about 1.5 hours to build it from unpacking to plugging it in

+ All parts were included and clearly labeled

+ Although the instructions look daunting, they really were easy to follow

+ Included all of the tools required (screw driver and wrenches), but using a rubber mallet (on Step #3) and adjustable wrench sped the process along

Pros -

+ Versatile; use as a standing elliptical or sitting cycle

+ Effective; provides a good workout in both modes

+ Electronics; monitors heart rate, adjusts intensity, and provides "programed" workout

+ Small Size; takes up about as much space as a traditional stationary bike

+ Affordable; this is a fairly inexpensive choice for a good quality machine

Cons -

Stride Length; I am 5'' 10" and find the stride length a little shorter than would normally be natural

Sturdiness; At 230lbs, I am on the larger side for this machine and find it does wobble a bit at higher intensities

Misc -

* My 5'' 11" son has very long legs (34") and finds that the cycle mode is slightly uncomfortable to him, but is fine for me (30" legs)

This machine was a good choice for us since it has so many important features at a price that was somewhat lower than we expected to pay when first starting to shop for this type of equipment.

This elliptical trainer was another surprise for us (when you compare with other people''s experiences). When we ordered it we were told it will take 4 to 6 weeks to arrive. The surprise: one week, good packaging again, nothing missing inside, no problem putting it together.

It works the way was meant to work. Good for average exercisers and has a seat to be used as a bicycle. Listed on Amazon for a max of 220 lbs weight for a person, but the manual lists it for 250 lbs max, which is good for me. It is a good construction, no noise, no wobbling.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this exercise machine since it only cost $265. It is super sturdy and very well made. Its weight is pretty heavy and is equivalant to any exercise machine you would use at a professional gym. Having the dual trainer as a bike and a stepper/walker takes up half the space of 2 separate machines. I highly recommend it!

First off, this is one of the least expensive ellipticals on Amazon and it allowed me to cancel my gym membership.

Setup:

2.5 hours (reading other reviews I wanted to make sure I did it right)

Instructions were very easy to follow

First Impression:

Very happy. I work out very hard and it handled my workout and the hardest level has PLENTY of resistance

Screen is a little hard to see but others who find this an issue can spend $1,000 on a better machine

Wobbles a little but nothing unsafe

Second Impression:

The infamous squeak began. Nothing to bad but worried me. Then it got worse and I got annoyed. My wife said she could hear it all the way upstairs from our basement; not good.

The computer beep is very loud don''t put this in any room where you don''t want it to beep

I called customer service because the squeaking was a deal breaker for me. If they could not help me then I would return it and find something else. She was very knowledgeable which impressed me. She said the problem people have is that they tighten the bolts too much. She said find the squeak and then loosen the bolts, add WD 40 if needed and re-tighten but not too tight at all. Bingo. The two bolts on the front stabilizer were the culprits. Now the machine is quiet as a mouse. Too bad other reviewers did not call so they could save the time to repackage and send it back.

Bottom line, this machine is great for the price. I will update later if anything changes.

Augusta Sportswear Ladies Tricot Lined Mesh Short. 858

Augusta Sportswear Women''s Tricot Lined Mesh Short, Black, XX-LargeI haven''t been able to find shorts like this in department stores. They are very similar to running shorts, but are longer for more coverage. I wear them for everything swimming, walking, lounging, and sleeping. I will definitely be ordering more.

I was quite disappointed with these shorts. Firstly, they are not as advertised. They are advertised as having a liner in them, and I took that to mean that there would be a pantie built into them. This is not the case, instead the shorts are constructed with two layers, if you can picture that. Secondly, their sizing is WAY off. I always wear 2X bottoms, but I found that these shorts, although labeled 2X, would barely fit. Also, they were extremely short. Last of all, the material is quite sleazy. It is 100% polyester, and not the good kind. They are the kind that would get clammy and sticky if you tried to work out in them. Do yourself a favor and do not buy these shorts.

Pearl iZUMi Men''s Infinity Warm Up Pant

Pearl iZUMi Men''s Infinity Warm Up Pant,Black,LargeThese are nice pants. I ordered small, and they fit well in the waist and were roomy without being baggy. Unfortunately, I''m 5''-8", and these pants are way too long on me.

These pants are super silky, slightly tailored and way nicer than most athletic pants. They''re not sloppy looking AT ALL. I will be purchasing more.

If you are not over 6 feet, do not order this item, it is just way too long. Had to return it, would have saved the trouble if I would have believed the other 2 guys who had wrote reviews and said the same.

Should have taken the advise of other posts wayyyyyyyy to long, and with the long zipper in the legs makes it challenging to get altered.

Want Pearl iZUMi Men''s Infinity Warm Up Pant Discount?

These warm up pants are extremely comfortable and smooth as silk. Wearing them is like wearing a pair of silk pants. Does not stick at all to the skin and comfortable in 60-ish weather which is what I''m wearing them in right now. I just absolutely love them.

Update: After reading the other 3 reviews, mine were too long too but I liked them so much I just had them altered. I wear these all the time.

Chest Expander Includes a Total of 5 Springs

Chest Expander Includes a Total of 5 SpringsI regret to say that the springs on this chest expander were too weak

for me to get any benefit from using it. So, I don''t.

I am very pleased with the product. A quick note I want to commend Amazon.com for existing because without this site I would not be able to have this piece of exercise equipment. My family (numerous other names) have been using this site since it started. Thanks Amazon for being here.

Pearl Izumi Men''s Infinity Wind Blocking Jacket

Mens Pearl Izumi Infinity Windblocking Jacket, Color:White/Black, XL ApparelTook shipment of this jacket in early January and have worn it 3 times/week since then. The jacket is great at blocking wind on the front, but breathes well enough to let sweat evaporate on my back. I regularly wear this at -15C with a couple layers underneath and I''m plenty warm. Definitely recommend this for running in Canada in the winter!

great cold weather choice....highly recommend for winter runs...best choice for the addidion to ones running wardrobe if in a cold weather climate

In 14 years of running, I''ve never been this comfortable in January. The wind protection is outstanding, and when added to a thermal base layer the warmth is amazing, even below freezing (I''ve been running in lower 30''s with 10 MPH wind). I''m 6''4" & 195 lbs. The XL fits perfectly, XXL would have been to much, I''m sure. PI may have built this jacket for cyclists, but as a runner I''m impressed.

This is my go to winter jacket for winter running. It is insanely warm and comfy. I usually get cold fast, but not with this. I''m buying another one.

Want Pearl Izumi Men''s Infinity Wind Blocking Jacket Discount?

Love this jacket! I was a little worried about other reviews saying it is a little warm, but it''s perfect for me. It is more sustantial than just a light weight shell. I''ve been using for 6 mile morning runs when the temp is below 40. I''m guessing with a layer underneath, I should be covered down to single digits. I''d highly recommend this and other Pearl Azumi gear.

New Balance Women''s Icefil Short Sleeve Shirt

New Balance Women''s Icefil Short Sleeve Shirt, Pink Shock, X-LargeIt fits really good, it makes me a good shape, the color is original, female and mainly the small sleeves help me to keep me dry

This shirt is one of the best i have bought for running. It''s a great material that keeps you cool during the heat, and surprisingly, when i ran in the cold, i wasn''t freezing in it! Also, i love the design and how the back has a reflector on it, very smart for people who run at dusk/dark. Over-all a wonderful buy, i recommend to all.

I ordered the pink shock in a small. Lets just say its definitely shocking. Its more of a neon pink than a light pink like it looks in the picture. Actually yea it looks nothing like the color shown. If I knew it was this bright I probably wouldnt have bought it. But anyways. It fits good and its light and comfortable. The small is good i also ordered a different one in a medium and it was a bit too loose. I wanted something that wasn''t tight but form fitting the small does that for me. I''m about 135lbs 5''6. It was a good buy when I got it on sale for $9.

StairMaster 7000 PT Stepmill

StairMaster 7000 PT StepmillI hate to exercise, but who wants to be fat? So I''ve been going to the gym for about 3 years now. That is where I tried the stepmill. At first I could only go a few minutes, but those few minutes kicked my butt! I gradually worked my way up to 30 minutes, and what a drenched mess of sweat I was in after those 30 minutes. You can do so much on this thing! You can climb sideways, working your inner thighs, backwards for your calves, and skip a step when going forward to really give your butt a lift. And then you can lift your leg out while stepping slowly for a stretch and a harder workout. On the cooldown, you can do calf raises, with just the ball of your foot on the step you lift yourself with just your calf muscles. Its an amazing workout, it burns the most calories in the shortest amount of time, and with all the different electronic workouts to choose from, it doesn''t really get boring. It constanly tells you how many calories you''re burning, how many floors you''ve climbed, etc. I bought a video ipod and watch movies while doing this and I''ve now gone for one hour, burning over 400 calories! But I''ve found good fast music really pushes me to go faster and kick my own a**.

I bought this machine because it is always being used at my gym and we only had 2 there, so for my bday, I bought myself one. It''s outside because its so huge, but with a fan it''s awesome!

I had enlarge heart and after using it for 6 month, 3 times a week, 20 minutes a day it has shrunk back almost to normal size. This machine gives you a good work out without impact on your joints.I highly recommend it.

Just put in front of your TV and enjoy it.

My father was a firefighter for phoenix az for 30 years. I purchased a refurbished stepmill 7000 pt for much cheaper than this and it was in excellent running condition. You can get these on line for around 2600. I even saw a refurbished blue face for 1895. If you are using it for home use, it will last forever! These machines are used to constant heavy use daily. The fire dept my father worked for still has Gauntlets that work fabulously if that gives you an indication of these machines toughness. For those who don''t know, The Gauntlet was the first stepmill made. It is very old but still gives you insane results! Do some homework and get a cheaper price. I love amazon, but this price is ridiculous. I can get a SM 916 for this price.

ASICS Men''s Lacrosse Scrimmage Round-Neck

ASICS Men''s Lacrosse Scrimmage Round-Neck, Navy/White, Small-MediumThere are a variety of reasons to purchase this item, and I did so for a lightweight jersey to wear on hot days outside on the bicycle, playing volleyball, etc. Product was exactly as described and is comfortable to wear as a base layer. I was concerned that the thin sewing keeping to two jersey layers together would come apart, however after multiple washings it has held up. I would buy this product again!

Stott Pilates Split-Pedal Stability Chair with Handles

Stott Pilates Split-Pedal Stability Chair with HandlesI have the Stott chair and the Stott SPX reformer, and I adore both of them. The chair was my first purchase, because it was less expensive and required less room. When I want a hardcore Pilates workout, I choose the chair. Because there is less room for support (the seat versus the bed of the reformer), the chair requires more core strength for correct execution of the practice. Even the footwork is harder on the chair! I would not get a chair without having had formal Pilates apparatus training. If you have had reformer or chair lessons, though, this is a great piece of home equipment.

After breaking the Malibu Pilates chair spring, I decided to upgrade to a real Pilates Chair. And the Stott Pilates is that and more. It''s solid. You have to assemble it, but with patience you can assemble it perfectly in about an hour. There are four big springs (one heavy and one light for each foot platform. The vinyl padding is quite comfortable and thick. The large rectangular shaped pads for the foot pedals are excellent. This is an excellent piece of commercial quality gym equipment that will provide excellent muscular and aerobic conditioning. It comes with the Essential and Intermediate video that is good! I would have given it five stars, but it''s not simple to change from split pedals to one pedal easily. But I think that it''s probably better to keep the pedals split as then you can learn to balance out your muscles better since you would have to move the pedals at the same rate. I think the tension with the springs is very good and the movement is silent and smooth. Overall, this is an excellent, versatile, piece of gym equipment where you can do a variety of exercises to strengthen your entire body. And the product will last a long time! You get what you pay for! However, the Malibu Pilates to start out can be a very good program, too.

The finest design and construction. Highest quality materials. Built to last. Amazingly versatile. As others mention, it is more challenging for some exercises than the reformer, but it is great for those wanting sitting or standing up exercises. Fits in a small space.

While Stott offers many excellent video & written materials to support the stability chair, I highly recommend a teacher -at least at first, and then an occasional checkup.

It''s not about getting old! Keep moving with functional exercises. It is therapy. Or, if you''re an athlete, add this to your training and take your performance to a higher level.

The Split-Pedal Chair is a fabulous piece of equipment! It gives an excellent workout and there are so many exercises that can be done on the Chair. Lots of options; standing, sitting, side-lying, kneeling, locked pedal, split pedal, etc. I love the intensity of my workouts on the Chair!! It''s also compact and easy to move. Try the STOTT PILATES dvd''s as well for the Chair, they will give you a great workout and assist in proper form.

Clients come in excitedly asking for "...the exercise on that chair that makes me sweat!" That could be a good many, but I know their favorites! The beauty of this product is it''s unassuming compact size with substantial build. This piece is the perfect way to challenge an athlete who wants to climb hills or ski them faster; amazing for training proper knee & hip tracking and ankle strengthening; excellent for exercises where the client can support their own body weight for strength & endurance (think gymnastics!). Splitting the pedal allows for "unilateral," work or where imbalances in sides are discovered. Splitting the pedal gives the client and instructor so many options, including ABDOMINAL work! Side plane (laying on your side or working limbs out to side) are extremely beneficial and abundant on this piece. The ability to quickly adjust spring tension and handle height (or removal) gives versatility to instructors and clients alike. An indispensable part of any studio, in a home or professional setting.
