This bike is expensive, but way better than anything you are going to find in a big box store! It''s entertaining, and since you actually have to "drive" it it keeps you engaged. I bought a used one and refurbished it myself after using one at my gym. I don''t think you could wear this thing out in 10 years of home use, it''s very heavy duty and designed for commercial gym use. If you plan to have it connected to the INTERNET try to avoid the Windows based units as you won''t get the full benefit of the INTERNET service. The newer Novo (Linux based I think) get updates and new routes downloaded along with route record keeping. The windows based units only get the record keeping. The Internet service cost is the same for both systems.
