Sportline 1025 Women''s Duo Heart Rate Monitor

I searched around in stores and online for a heartrate monitor. I am starting in getting healthy and fit and it was important that I track my heart rate as well as calories expended when working out as I find the machines to be extremely inaccurate. I finally settled on this product because I was able to track my workouts and save them for at least a week. It took a moment to figure out how to use...the manual is extremely important to have a keep handy...but once I figured it out, I was good to go. It is a comfortable fit and I find it to be accurate. I am currently not using all of the features, but there are a lot, such as an alarm if you go above or below your target heart rate. It is a great product that I would recommend to friends.

I spent weeks researching heart rate monitors, and I''m glad I went with this model. I am a novice runner, and mainly wanted to get an acurate count of calories burned. I love that I can use the watch on it''s own, or add the chest strap for my workouts for continuous monitoring. The chest strap is comfortable, and easily fits under my sports bra. Set up was easy, manual was adequete, and the watch isn''t too bulky.

My only complaint is that I have to wear the watch with the face on the underside of my wrist to get a heart rate reading w/o the chest strap. But it could just be my wristand it isn''t uncomfortable or anything.

While it may not have all the bells and whisles of the more expensive brands, it is perfect for my needs, and so far appears to be a great value.

The the battery in watch portion of this product needs to be changed by a jeweler. I would not have bought this product had I known that; however, on a more positive note, the watch has a battery saving service (the watch can be turned "off" without losing the settings). It has been my experience that the batteries normally will last about a year in these watches and it is very difficult to find a jeweler who is willing to change the battery. I hope I have better experience with this battery.

Another item individuals might want to know that is not listed is the chest monitor is made in China.

I purchased this product on recommendation from a lady at the gym and find myself addicted to wearing it all the time I love watching how many calories I burn doing various activities around the house and at the gym! Before I purchased this watch I had lost about 75 lbs and then hit a huge plateau for a few months now that I have this and can watch the calories in and calories out I''ve started to lose weight again. Not sure who enjoys the watch more, me or my trainer I do have to say we have a blast trying to see how many calories I can burn on our workout days!

Watch was EASY to set up; it''s comfortable to wear and doesn''t look too bad with most daily things (unless you are all dressed up). I did find that wearing the heart monitor strap gives you better results when it comes to your heart rate and calories burned if you tuck it under your sports bra line it''s like it''s not even there!

Really recommend this to anyone looking to have something to help them lose weight and work out!!

I am incredibily disappointed with this product. I purchased the item on 4/19/10 then paid extra for 2 day shipping. I was so happy when I received it on 4/21/10. The screen was really faint and everytime I hit the light button the screen would go blank then an alarm would sound. Then the screen never came back on. I ordered an replacement on 4/21 and I just received it on 4/22. This time the screen never came on. I will NEVER purchase for this company every again and have completely wasted a week of my time for a product that never worked.
