It appears that this item is made under a lot of different names and prices. All of these models come with the rubber bicycle handles and not the foam handles. It was next to impossible to find some evaluation that could indicate what the spring tension was on them and I''m afraid that I can''t add much either. I think that this spring will suite most everyone except the strongest. It does take some real power to bend it and I think that the average women would have a very hard time doing one. It is not a spring that is impossible to bend but does require some real effort. If I do 8-10 it starts to become taxing which is perfect for what I am looking for. I would suggest that you be very careful using this spring because if it would slip out of your hand I could see it breaking your jaw or nose.... and that is not a good thing.

I have added the Power Twister to the stretch bands and dumbbells that comprise my small home gym. It provides a challenging upper-body workout and introduces some welcome variety. It is very well manufactured, and I am sure it will prove durable. It is not quite a beginner''s piece, and if you are not used to resistance exercises you might find it a challenge until you are. But once you''ve developed the strength to manipulate it across the full range of motion for each exercise, you will not want to put it down. I highly recommend it.

I bought this to carry along when I walk and it''s a great choice. It has some weight to it, about 7 lbs, so it adds a little resistance. It takes a fair amount of strength to flex it so be careful!

I am a 69 year old male, not particularly strong, but fairly active. I have never tried a bar like this, so it is an adventure. I use my knee to start the bending, but I can then use it with arms only. I would prefer one of the patented adjustable chest exercise devices that is imported, but they are more expensive than I want. I think this one will be useful after I get better at using it. I do not use the wrist loops because if I let go and the rod snaps out straight, I fear it might break my wrist. This thing is not a toy.
