GSI Quality Mini Exercise Data Monitor With USB Interface

Purchased as a gift for my wife. When I got the item the battery was dead...No big deal, Amazon gave me a partial credit for the dead battery. The CD that comes with the item does not work with Windows 7 and 64 bit systems. Tried to contact GSI but was told by them I had to contact Amazon for any problems since they shipped the item.

Once battery was replaced, numbers on display are too small to read. The step tracking was phantom tracking adding steps even when she wasn''t moving.

This device will not interface with any 64 Bit Operating System. It''s pretty out of date, so I would recommend you stay away from it. I spent an hour looking for an updated driver, and realized that I can''t even find the product on the manufacturer''s wb page. This device was cool for about 15-minutes of it''s heyday, but now is nearly worthless.

I received this item yesterday and it does not work. I took out the battier and replaced it hoping it would then start but nothing. I also downloaded the program that goes with this product but that did nothing to help.

Please let me know what I should do to resolve this problem

The instruction booklet is not very detailed and it is difficult to set up the device as compared to other pedometers I have used. The CD did not work, nor did the web address to download the program. It was a true dissappointment and not returnable for full credit because we had taken so long to do the problem solving it was past the 30 days for full credit. There was no customer support from GSI.
