I bought a BodySmith weightbench 20 years ago and loved it until my son moved out and took it with him. After shopping for a new bench for a year I finally bought the Body Solid with the three attachments. It is everything I loved about the BodySmith but better. It is still the heavy steel construction, heavy duty bolts, etc. but with better desgned seat rail and better padding but the same straignforward useability for day in and day out workouts. This is a great item all except the push in caps at the base. The idea is great, but the construction is crap. I broke all four push in caps, because they have a clip on each end and that''s what snapped. The caps still can be used.
