Armitron Men''s 408190RED Sport Red Accented Digital Chronograph Watch

My 12 year old son loves this watch. It looks good, is well priced, and does just what he wants it to. And now we love it even more, since it got left in a pocket and survived a full wash cycle and 30 minutes in the dryer! It works perfectly, and I''m amazed. I''d say that if you need a watch that can take some punishment, this is a good bet.

Bought this watch about 4 months ago, and it''s still working like the day it came out of the box. Light works well, date and alarms are easy to set (shown in the manual), and I''ve done my fair share of gruntwork outside with it on, and it''s toughed it all out. I''ve scraped it against bricks (accidentally), trees, rocks... there''s maybe one scratch to show, and it''s small.

The Water resistance is spectacular, too. I''ve swam in my pool with it, I''ve went to water parks with it, I''ve taken showers with it, I''ve went to the creek with it... and I''m planning on going scuba diving with it later this month.

And one of the other main selling points (the water resistance was the big one) was the 24 hour/military time. I''m about to enlist into the Marine Corps, so a watch that shows 24 hour time was a must.

Overall, this watch beats every other one I''ve had.

It looks phenomenal, it runs like a charm, and you can''t beat the price.

This watch rocks! ...nuff said. I haven''t tested its water proofing yet, but none the less I am confident in it. Only the digital print lights, not the entire face...needless to say I think it looks nice. Took me five minutes to set the time. One button is for todays date(year, numerical month, and date,) one for light, one to reset, and another one to alternate between alarm, time2, and stop watch. Has a 24 hr mode. The strap and buckle looks attractive and sturdy (as opposed to dinky, and dainty such as a womens watch.) I haven''t figured out how to interpret the arrows above the seconds thoah because they''re more sporadic rather then linear....Great watch!

It''s a cheap watch and for $15, I don''t think one would get better than this. I mean you can but you''ve then got to dig in a lot and have to run through all the sections of watches in amazon or any other website. But this is good and I actually had a little problem in setting up the time cz I live in CST and it came in EST. AND ALSO THEY DON"T SEND ANY doc. WHICH WE CAN REFER ON HOW TO CHANGE THE TIME.

The bottom left corner button is used to select the modes as in actual time, stopwatch or alarm. When selected, press the top left button which says ''Reset''. It will indicate you which time to change, hour, minute or date... . then to change it, you have to press ''ST/STP'' button. when completed, press the reset button again to set the time or the alarm or wotever.

I just bought this watch and so far so good. I can see the display. The light works well.

It is very easy to operate once you find the instructions. I am writing because I noticed in other reviews, people said the watch did not come with instructions. The instructions are hidden inside the roundish white thing that the watch is wrapped around. Pull out the white thing from the box and you will notice that the thing has notches on the side where you put your nails to open it up.
