The description said these were 17.5 inches across. They ARE NOT. I wanted to use them as bumper plates. Other than that I have no complaints. They shipped quick.

Great weights for the price. Thick rubber coating as expected.

You should know that the 5 pound weights do NOT have the holes for the grips as shown in the figures. I wish they did, but not worth returning for that.

I''m not sure if it''s somewhere in the fine print but I believe this item is advertised as having grips. There are no grip holes on the plate that I was sent. Perhaps, at later weights in this series, CAP doesn''t put grip wholes on the plates. I don''t know. But this is false advertising if you ask me.

I started crossfit a few month ago and wanted to get an olympic bar and a few plates for practicing some of the moves and doing a few WODs at home that didn''t require an entire weight set. These fit the bill nicely.
