TRX FORCE Kit: Tactical

This is a great product and well worth the money, if you use it. I purchased the home version of the TRX and loved it. I wanted to upgrade and I like the more subdued coloring of the TRX Force Kit so I bought it. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much more you really get for the higher cost.

-The TRX itself is heavier duty than the original

-The new style handles are easier to hold with sweaty hands

-It comes with DVDs as well as workout wall posters

-It includes the extension strap for mounting to higher points

-The guidebook is very high quality and durable

-The compact size makes it very easy to transport

The one con (and it''s a small one) is the running/storage bag it comes with. The bag is large but very thin and doesn''t seem like it will hold up very well. I carry mine in a gym bag so it''s not a big deal for me.

Note: In spite of how the straps look in the photo, they are still attached together and can''t be used separately like the Jungle Gym XT.

The Force Tactical is the military version of the TRX suspension trainer. It is lighter and stronger than the standard version. It contains the extender stap, the door anchor and the 12 week Military fitness workouts. This is the new version of the Force Kit Tactical that has rubber hand grips instead of foam. The stap lengthening mechanism is improved. The TRX unit is well made, but is more expensive than something like the Lifeline Jungle Gym XT. That is why I can only give it 4 stars.

The TRX like all suspension trainers can provide some resistance work, but will not replace weights. It can also provide some endurance work, but will not replace cardio work like running, biking or an elliptal trainer.

Where the TRX excels is providing a full body workout that emphasizes strengthening the core of the body. It will help build stability and stength that will be used in all activities including normal life!

Yes, the TRX is expensive and there are probably effective suspension trainers at lower costs. But, I''m reviewing the Tactical Trainer which is an awesome piece of equipment. I do a lot of traveling, this packs easily, takes little space and is appropriate for use on doors at most hotel.

The workouts are quite efficient and effective, moving through exercises in a circuit fashion I get a full body workout, with some level of cardio and flexibility in 20 minutes. The core is activated constantly.

The kit comes with videos and a manual which are top-notch.

I also use the TRX outside with the included accessory which is quite fun on good weather days.

So, if the gold standard of suspension trainers is your goal, this is it.

This is TRX''s TOP of the line model and I must say it''s DONE VERY WELL. Many upgrades more sturdier and just looks AWESOME!!! Highly recommend this model for individuals who are pretty much in good to great condition. Set up is really easy. Take it to the park,at home, anywhere you could strap it on to!! Do yourself a BIG Favor and invest in yourself and get this. NOW!!!!!!

Excellent system, i have used it in the gym and when i finally decided to order it, i was deployed for a 6 month deployment on a ship. It has worked out amazing for working out on the ship and staying away from the undersized and over populated gym. Much better for maintaining i high intensity functional workout than picking things up and putting them down.
