EA Sports Active: Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Edition

I''ve played some with Wii Fit Plus with Balance Boardand found it to be a gentle workout.

The EA Sports Active allows for a much more intense workout. I was shocked at how much I felt the workout the day after in my legs (thanks to squats and lunges).

While yes it is at times hard to get the sensor to register that is also a function of how well / poorly I do the activity. If I moved out of the squat or the lunge too early or moved too rapidly for the activity it did not register. Basicly you have to do the activity "correctly" and no cheating allowed. While at times frustrating this is also exactly what I have been looking for. A workout game that ensures I am doing it correctly and not shorting myself on the workout.

Like another reviewer has stated the leg pouch does not stay put easily. I am still trying to find a way to keep it in place but I really like the feedback it gives.

I bought this becasue it was on a lightning deal not because it being a breast cancer awareness edition. When buying anything for a ''cause'' I am very careful about where I put my dolllar and I quite often use the phrase ''think before you buy pink'' when looking at breast cancer awareness products.

For a good workout I highly recomend this product -be aware though that it takes a bit to get the hang of it.

My wife loves this. Also, my kids (6 and 4) think it''s a blast, too. If they aren''t working out with mom, they are working out with each other.

Their leg strap has a hard time staying up on my hamstring... I tried both shorts and track pants and no luck. Decided to use a bobby pin for the extra support. Game play could be better... Several of the exercises would not register my movement and this was a pain... When it did work, it was fun...

This Wii game is one that I highly recommend. I purchased this for my wife and kids to use for physical education as she home schools the kids. Not only do they love the game, but it is really giving them a good workout! They are always red in the face and sweating upon completion. It has a good variety of activities to do.
