I''ll preface this: I am a merino junkie. Smartwool socks (replaced slowly my entire sock wardrobe). Then moved on to shirts, pants, even underwear. I like Ibex a lot, Icebreaker, and I/O bio. All sold here on Amazon.

This hoodie is just right for year round use in Los Angeles. the sleeves are blessedly long, the zipper is high quality. The weight is far lighter than a typical cotton hoodie with plush inside. This is a single layer of lightweight merino. Its softer than you'' expect. I occasionally throw it on next to skin to run outside to walk the dog in the morning or evening. It layers easily as well because the fabric is smooth, and semi-fit, so it doesn''t bunch too much. Highly recommended.

It ain''t cheap, but the quality is certainly there. It''s very comfortable and has a slim, tailored type fit. Zippers and everything look like they''ll last a lifetime.
