There is no pockets on sides but there is a zipped pocket on right back which I found very useful.

Great running shorts. Adidas really has a leg up on the competition for shorts comfort. These shorts fit snug, but loose enough to breathe easily. The small pocket is perfect size for a key or one to two gels. The liner is comfortable and breathable.

Used mainly for exercise bike and workouts. The interior mesh lining keeps everything dry and cool. There''s a small pocket, but really too small to store much.
