Reasons I love this DVD:
* No excessive chit chat, I like to zone out during stretching and Cathe''s directions are mostly limited to guiding positions. Perfect!
* Really good stretches of IT band area -there are several stretches that target this problem area
* Good guidance on modification and warnings about overstretching (I''m hyper flexible, so this isn''t a problem for me, but I''m glad she talks about it)
* Good pacing in general (there are a few stretches I hold longer than she does, but it generally flows well).
* Nice and short (13 minutes), I''m not inclined to skip doing it for lack of time.
What could be improved:
* The basic routine is very leg-heavy and a bit light on shoulder area stretches. When I do the routine I add a few extra at the end for the shoulders and upper back.
* The pacing during the back arches is a bit off for me, so I vary the routine, holding the back arch both to stretch my back muscles and then holding the arch the other way to stretch across the abdomen (giving them equal time).This is a great video. It has three 13-minute stretching segments: two with the exercise ball and one without. The stretches cover the whole body and I feel more relaxed after I am done. I would recommend this for post exercise and for general stress relief.

I have begun a process of Changing my life style and trying to become physically fit and incorporating a stretching routine. This DVD is perfect. It Includes 3 fifteen minute routines. One basic whole body stretching routine using a mat, and two with the excersise ball. This has allowed me to start with the mat stretching routine at least 4 times a week. And then move to the more advanced stretching routines. I5 minutes is the perfect amount of time and I feel like my whole body has been stretched. She is direct and easy to follow. I like this, it''s simple and nothing too fancy for people with physical issues like me.I wanted a full body stretch DVD to help relief tension and get relief from a stiff neck, back and legs. I work at a computer all day. The video seems just adequate therefore, overpriced. I wouldn''t purchase another from Cathe.
