Pros:
Easy to use. Attachments simply clip on.
Easy to adjust, just press a button and you can pull the straps
Relatively easy to setup. You do have to screw it into the door frame, but that feels safer anyway.
Somewhat stylish for an exercise bar that hangs in your doorway.
Feels solid. I was nervous about this at first, but it feels like it is very strong.
A variety of exercises using only body-weight, and the potential to add band work as well(The do not say that in any of their info. That is just my observation.)
Nice exercise flip book, laminated and organized by difficulty.
Video is just a repeat of the flip-book, but it does show the muscle groups that you are working in each exercise.
Very quick to switch from one exercise to another.
Takes up much less space than a weight bench and several weights.
You can do way more exercises than they say in their book.
Cons:
The exercise book should show what muscle groups you are working. It''s nice and easy to use, but I have a terrible memory, and I am not going to play that video every time I want to change up my routine.
I thought the bar and straps were going to be removable when not in use. I was dead wrong. The only place that I could use it is between the kitchen and the living room and you can see it from both. It''s not a pretty sight. I did put some coat hooks on the top corners of the door to hang the straps and extra doo hickeys. That helped a little.
Although it feels very solid, and looks very solid, it occasionally makes a pop sound. After some serious investigating, I think it is the plastic cover flexing, and nothing to worry about, but it still makes me nervous when I have all my body weight on it.
In conclusion, if you are looking for away to do full body strength exercises using your body weight in your home, this is one of the most versatile and affordable options available.
P.S. I wasn''t sure which Gravity bar I have so I am putting the review on both. They look exactly the same to me.The GoFit Gravity Bar arrived in record time and upon immediate inspection proved to be made of high quality materials. The instructions are good. Basically, you have to drill 5 holes (1/8" drill) on each side of the (inside) of the door frame for the supplied 5 screws that hold the metal plates which support the adjustable width metal bar (tube).
Once you drill the holes (5 on each side); attach the screws; position the cross bar; and tighten the hex screws, you are finished with the support mechanics. Next, you bring the top end of the cable (with the metal loops) on each side through the left and right center guide on the cross bar, and attach the handles by means of the carabiners. GoFit not only supplies high quality parts, but also gives you some extra support screws, hex screws and an allen wrench. You grip the comfortable and strong handles and you are ready to do the exercises.
The spiral bound, laminated, exercise book is also extremely well made and attractive and there is an exercise instruction DVD included as well.
It is super easy to adjust the length of the straps by simply pressing the friction buckle/button at the top of each strap. Not only easy, but also very quick.
The exercises are GREAT and include pullups, rowing, curls and reverse curls, tricep extensions as well as lots of routines for body core and the lower body. In use, the GoFit unit feels very solid and has exceeded my all of expectations with respect to workmanship, quality of instructional material, and exercise versatility. For it''s excellent quality it would be a bargain at twice its price.
It merits my highest recommendations!

I have ordered tons of stuff from Amazon and have never written a review. Was so excited and happy with my Gravity Bar purchase, I had to write a review. I kind of stumbled into it from a different reviewer when I was researching TRX. That TRX seemed so overpriced and they nickel and dime for everything. Plus it seemed limited when workout out at home as the door attachment (separate purchase) can only be used with the door closed. Limiting the range of exercises. With the Gravity Bar, you get such a great range of exercises. The book and DVD have really good ones, plus I have been able to do all of the killer workouts I see on youtube using TRX, and other suspension systems. The feel, and quality of the materials are excellent. Feels VERY sturdy and I weigh 255lbs! I was a Div 1 college athlete in multiple sports, and have worked out pretty often throughout my life. Now, with business, I haven''t really worked out in about two years. This has been the best workout purchase I have made, and I have had perfect pushup, perfect pull-up, and some other stuff. I look forward to working out on this Gravity Bar everyday. It''s too distracting as I look at tons of videos during the day, looking at new and improved exercises to do. At this price, it''s a no brainer. Seriously, you really don''t need a gym membership, just this, some cardio and I am seeing great results!I mainly bought this for my daughter so that we could hang a therapy net swing from it. I liked it because it was cheaper than a regular pull up bar and I could also exercise with it with a lot of TRX movements. Each side has a 5 bolt pattern and it goes into the door opening well. If you dont want it up it''s easy to take the bar down and leave the support tracks in the door way. My suggestion when installing it, install it about 3 1/2" down from the top (rather than the instructions recommended 2"), that way you have plenty of space to work with when taking it down. It came with the handles and arm straps (for doing abs) and a 10% off coupon for the next purchase. So far it''s supported me well and I''m 6''1" 200lbs.
