KettleWorx Complete - Total Body Kettlebell Fitness in a Box! 13 DVDs with 2 Kettlebells

KettleWorx Complete - Total Body Kettlebell Fitness in a Box! 13 DVDs with 2 KettlebellsI purchased this program 4 weeks ago, not thru Amazon but thru KettleWorks.com. You don''t have the option to get 2 kettlebells thru them so buy this program thru Amazon! You will also get it faster thru Amazon than KettleWorks. I upgraded to the 10lb. kettlebell becuase I have been working out for years.

I started out doing the 3 day a week routine as suggested. After the first week, I didn''t feel the 3 day a week routine was working as well as I wanted so I changed the program. I work out 5 days a week for 30 minutes. I have added the Fast Abs workout everytime I work out. Now I have abs! No more "pooch" in the lower stomach! On the other 2 days that I don''t do Cardio, Core or Resistance, I pop in an Ultimate dvd and then follow up with the Fast Abs. After 3 weeks of doing my revised program, I am getting really toned and I LOVE it!

Last year my husband purchased Insanity. I did that for 2 months. The first month was pretty good. I got toned but not as toned as I am now. Then I started the second month and started to get big, not fat, but muscle big.

I am a petite, in my 40''s woman. I judge my weight by how I fit in my jeans, not by the scale. My revised program is working great FOR ME. I have noticed some of the reps on the "Half Get-Ups" are not the same for each side like others have mentioned. I just do the same amount on each side and catch up with the instructor on the next exercise. It is no big deal. If you don''t like this exercise program because of that, you are making an excuse not to work out.

I have also done Jillian Michaels kettlebell work out too. I like this one better because of the variety even though Jillian is a great instructor. She wants you to work out 5 days a week too but you only get 2 programs and you get bored.

I do want to mention that I am not doing the "diet" that they suggest. I am eating my normal way, including wine, cheese, pasta and lots of chocolate! I have also increased my water in take everyday. I drink at least 3-4 16oz. of water daily. I am sure that if I followed their eating plan, I wouldn''t have to work out as much. To me, 30 minutes 5 days a week is nothing. When you step over that 30 minute mark, and there is no variety, working out becomes a chore and boring.

I purchased this product for both my husband and me to use. We''ve had this product for one week and we''ve both completed two workouts. We were extremely disappointed to find that the workouts were not contiguously filmed, but are comprised of multiple segments strung together. It''s very demotivating when you know that the people you''re watching on the screen aren''t doing this workout in its entirety!

Each segment is played twice and that is the whole workout. I think circuit training is very beneficial but I don''t appreciate having to hear and see the exact same thing twice in just one workout. Additionally, the same clips are used in multiple workouts. These workouts do not offer as much variety as is claimed. The cardio workout was comprised of several of the same exercises as the resistance and abs workouts.

Furthermore, we had to be very careful as the instructor is not always doing the same number of reps on each side of the body. During the week 1 resistance workout, he instructed us to perform 7 reps on one side and only 3 on the other. That''s a huge difference and very unhealthy I might add.

I am currently attempting to return this product which has been a frustrating process in itself as the customer service phone number does not give customers the option of speaking to a live person; you must either leave a voicemail or email them.

Save yourself some time and money and look elsewhere.

Started this as a prelim workout for me as I need a different way to get cardio etc. All the reviews you hear about the editing are true. IT"S HORRIBLE!!! it''s not one straight workout, but segments put together to make 20 mins. It is very fast paced to the point where sometimes you miss the 1st few reps of the next exercise. Which also reminds me keep track of your reps on each side he may do 12 on one side then 3 on another. It''s odd. Never the less it is still an intense workout that my wife and I enjoy. I hope to see results soon.

I understand the complaints about the video but I think they are overreacting. The videos are fine. Here''s the thing: Most workout videos are one long shot and the people do the workout from start to finish with you. Kettleworx isn''t like that. Each individual exercise is a video clip and they are all put together to create a 20 minute workout. When you start the DVD you choose which week you are on and the workouts have slightly different video clips for (a little)variety.

Hearing the exact same comments over and over is a little annoying but it''s no big deal. Once you are familiar with the exercises you can turn down the audio, crank up your own music and just follow the visual queues. Count your own reps and you''ll be fine. As mentioned by others, the reps in the videos are inconsistant. He does a lot of talking and doesn''t seem to keep count.

As for the workout, it''s great. I''m in pretty good shape and I find it a challenge and after starting all the muscles I wasn''t working out were sore as heck. It works the whole body for sure. My only complaint is the warm-up. It''s too short and doesn''t have enough stretching. Do some jumping jacks and extra stretching before you start the video.

Yes, yes, the editing could have been done a bit better, as a few of the exercises are repeated more on one side than the other but as long as you yourself are keeping track, you have time to get in the same amount each side. Yes, each exercise was filmed separately and then linked together to form a whole, and during each workout, you have "sets" which are a repeat. But does any of this really matter? Why should he and the producers have spent the money refilming the same thing over and over? GET OVER IT ! These KettleWorx are great workouts, and I''m no wuss. You move and practice resistance on practically every part of your body; you progress in the weight of the kettlebell as you see fit; and they are fun so you don''t realize quite how hard you are working. I don''t sweat much even when I run, but I am wet after these workouts. After I do my regular free weights workouts, I do a full one of these workouts afterwards, or sometimes after a run, or sometimes on their own. The 10 minute Fast Abs and Fast Cardio Burn are also good for this. Plus...Ryan Shanahan is nice, very encouraging, and not cocky at all. I highly recommend! Seriously !!
