Spinervals Competition DVD 24.0 - HILLacious w/ Great Harvest Bread Co.

I have purchased about 3 Spinervals training DVD''s in the past. I have liked them all. Coach Troy is a great motivator. I especially like Spinervals 24.0, Hillacious DVD. It is hill training and interval training in one package. I have not only noticed my legs feeling great on the hills during my group rides, but have also noticed my anaerobic threshold has improved quite a bit in the past 2 to 3 months since using this training DVD. Love it. If you like challenging yourself, you will love it too.

Fell in love with the Spinervals series this winter because I can just put the DVD in and be coached on what to do. This is exactly what I need as you''re told what gear to be in, how hard your effort should be, whether to sit/stand, in the drops/aero/on the brake hoods. So if you''re like me and have no idea how to train on a bicycle, Spinervals is exactly what we''re looking for! Based on my history with Spinervals workouts, I expected and this DVD delivered an excellent QUALITY workout.

I liked the workout since it keeps me focused and challenged while riding the trainer indoors. Since there is a tendnecy for the mind to wonder and lose focus while riding indoors this DVD makes your workout more productive. Coach Troy keeps you on task during the session even if he starts to get a bit much by the end of the workout. If you usually ride in a relatively flat area this is a nice complement to your training. I''ve been using this disc once a week and do enjoy it.

I like this dvd, but have to say it is really cheesy. The workout is great, but the commentary is on the lame side. If you''re looking for a great hill climbing dvd to spin with on the off-season, this is a reasonable purchase.
