Cap Barbell Black Olympic Plate- 45 lbs

Ordered two of these. One was OK. The other one had a 1 1/4 1 1/2 inch long, 1/4 1/2 inch deep gouge/chip on the outer edge see the two photos I uploaded. The manufacturer knew about the defect and tried to cover the gouge/chip with paint, which is obvious, since the shade is different.

Found a couple of other reviews (10 lb plate) that also mentioned poor quality control from this manufacturer:

I got thse plates for my son. He is a power lifter and has an amazing set-up in his apartment. He is very pleased with these plates and uses them for squats, deadlifts, and a number of other moves. He squats 400lbs... a serious lifter!

This weight plate is painted well and is easy to grip and place on barbell. It made a nice addition to my other weights and gives me the extra weight I needed for a great price.

OK, so, it''s a barbell, what is there to review, but I just bought 1 of these for finger exercises and the lip around the edge of the barbell is a good distance to get the tips of my fingers under for that kind of lifting. It''s a good product. I''m glad I bought it.
