Casio Men''s HDD600-1AV 10-Year-Battery Sport Watch

The photo shows the watch to have a cyan blue backlight. That is NOT what the watch comes with. The illuminator light is a simple led like light (not even a backlight) with a yellowish glow emitted from the left of the lcd panel. Even the casio product webpage shows the watch as having the same glow. Bad.

That was my biggest dissapointment with this product. Otherwise it does everything its supposed to pretty well and should last me for a long while.

I live on an ocean going boat and need the functions such as stopwatch, digital clock, alarms and a night light. Yeah, its a cheap watch. But with saltwater and abuse, i can buy a new one every year or two. I have been using these casios for years. I never keep one as long as the battery will last. It keeps time just like a Rolex. Save the money, buy Casio.

The dial is perfect for my tired (need bifocals) eyes; don''t have to wear my glasses to see it. It is inexpensive and I don''t have to worry about damaging it by wearing it at work or when doing chores around the house. Also, its having a 10-year battery is a plus.

This is an inexpensive but very functional watch. Given that it is made of plastic, it is attractive and comfortable to wear. I bought it to replace an earlier model of this watch which lasted over 10 years before it lost the sound for its alarm. Great for every day wear and 2 useful aspects for travel -alarm and dual time zones.
