EXF Rings - Crossfit Gymnastics Fitness Training

EXF Rings - Crossfit Gymnastics Fitness TrainingI went for these rings versus the Rogue rings because these have a quick way to measure the strap length which works great. I can slap these up at the gym, do my thing and move on without much fuss.

Unfortunately the rubber material on the rings have worn almost completely off after about 200 muscle ups. Additionally, someone at the gym brought their Rogue rings and the strap width is about 50% thicker than these.

These are okay for the casual user or someone who won''t do anything more than a pull-up, but I would not buy again.

I''ve been working out (mostly weightlifting) for 4 decades. This is a product that is definitely worth having. There is nothing else that can duplicate the unique benefits of working out with rings. When I started, I could not even hold myself up without shaking all over. 7 weeks later, I can do repetition leg raises and the rings barely move. At a typical dip station, I can do dips with weight attached to me; on the rings, I had to work up to doing a single dip. By using rings for dips and pushups, I''ve added weight to my bench press. By doing body rows on rings, I''ve increased my pullup reps significanly (and I''m in my 50''s, 6''4" and 220#, so I''m not exactly built for doing lots of pullups.)

I recommend this product unreservedly. Go to for more info.

These rings are really great. They are light weight yet very durable. The handles provide a slight padding and make them very comfortable. And the textures give them a nice feel and ability to hold chalk and reduce slippage. The measured webbing is a great touch which should have been thought of long ago. And the quick S buckles are very easy to use if you move your rings around a lot or set them up outside on trees, playgrounds, goal posts, etc.

Worth every penny.

Pay no mind to the Two ! on the Review title. The rings are Great. I myself have never been a gymnast, or aspired to be one, however this is like a whole gym if used along a door pull up bar (This is what I bought it for).

Originally I had a pull up bar, and a dip machine which i obtained for cheap. I also own a weight belt so that I could attach weight while doing dips or pull ups and what not. However ever since I obtained these rings I''ve been training more effectively and with out the added weight, this is due to your bodies stabilizer muscle having to actually work during almost any exercise done with these rings.

I love em'' I''m now training to be able to do Galimores, Belgian dips, Korean dips (with a bench for my legs for now, since I''m working up to body weight... They''re harder than I thought) along with the basic dips, I can also use these rings to do inverted chest flies, and do Russian leg lifts. Even inverted shrugs. What I''m really happy about is being able to train for the Iron cross.

All in all the product is great after the one time pain it is to assemble the product, but after that, it is a breeze every time. You will only get what you put into these rings though, so do not expect to become Phil Pfister over night though, unless of course this is you Mr. Pfister.

A must buy if you find yourself staggered with your current equipment. Your imagination is the limit with these rings.

Bought these rings with the intent of having my own pair to work on all of my muscle-up/ lever progressions. I thought that the rubberized grip and multi-textured surfaces would be interesting for training in different climates. However, upon arrival of the package, I found the construction of the rings to be less than adequate. The website claims the rings are made from the same material as "riot shields" and this gives the buyer the impression that they have substantial structural integrity. These rings are a joke, they feel like toys, the buckles are weak, the straps are thin, time consuming, and awkward.

ALSO, the whole idea that the straps are metered out is BS. Unless you hang your s clip at the right height, your cam buckle with the right slack, and position the straps on even surfaces the measurements have nothing to do with your ring height in relationship to each other. You are better off eyeballing it.

Stick with XTREME or Rogue.
