Ended up giving them to a girl friend. Too small for my hands although my hands are medium sized male hands. It won''t allow my hand to open more than 60% of what it can, and this allows about a half muscle workout instead of full.
If you are a male with medium to bigger hands and would like to have a nice strong looking forearms you should go with the bigger/harder ones, with the wider space per opening and closing. These feel like toys in my hands. I could do about 4-5 squeezes per second.I somewhat regret not heeding some of the advice given by other reviewers on here. This product works very, but I found the resistance to be a little on the weaker side. I suppose it depends on what you''re looking for. If you just want to strengthen your wrists a little, this product works fine. But if you really want to build up your wrists and forearms, put in the extra money and buy something better. This product has low resistance and is not comfortable at all to use for extended periods of time. The grips are pretty cheap (foam) and slip and move under your hand.
Take-home message: For the occasional user who isn''t too set on quality, get this product, it''s a good bargain. Otherwise, keep looking.

I have various brands and models and brands of hand grips and use them rather constantly. first let me say that I use all of these grips for as a form of therapy that actually strength building although the strength comes and remains with constant use.I keep hand grips in our cars as I fiddle with them as I drive. I have them located near my reading chair, on the back porch where I set with my dogs, at my desk here in my home office and various other locations around the home where I spend significant time. I use these grips because I am old and due to my age I have developed arthritis in both hands. I find that with constant and rather mild exercise and mild doses of Ibuprofen that I can manage the pain and maintain flexibility. Of course it also helps maintain my muscle tone in my forearms.
These particular grips are rather on the light side when it comes working with them. They are ideal for a large number of repetitions...one of my primary goals. These grips are also ideal for those who have smaller hands. The foam handles are comfortable enough but please keep in mind that they do slip off quite easily, but as noted by other reviewers, they can be put back on with great ease.
These are the grips I keep in our automobiles. They are relatively inexpensive to replace which is a plus for me as our cars seem to actually be "black holes" where things seem to vanish with no explanation. These things are not all that expensive and it is far better to loose an item at this price than that of more than triple the cost.
These are effective in my case and they do the job I pay them to do. Were I seriously into body building or were I 40 or 50 years younger I probably would go for something a bit more sophisticated and something that would give me more of a workout. As it stands though, I am quite happy with this product and as I loose the ones I have now I will replace them with others of this style and brand.

Just arrived today and I think they''re great! I was expecting something a little bit bigger, but they fit my small hands fine. The foam grips are comfortable enough, and the resistance is perfect for a beginner.Would recommend. When much of the work is at a desk, in front of a computer, and you want to pump some blood in your body, this is the perfect solution for a quick exercise. Instead of buying snacks, get these and squeeze them a hundred times in one sitting :)
