Not only does the base keep the ball from rolling while at your desk this unit will connect with an exercise strap for working out.
So for approximately $20 (Base and Shipping-shpg about same cost as the base) it''s pretty worth it and very satisfied with it and perhaps even a better alternative to a Balance Ball Chair. When I received the base, I was concerned that the lack of "feet" would cause unnecessary scratching on my wood floors. The reason is that entire base area rests on the floor vs. having pads, or coaster discs on the base where the 4 holes are.
But, really, what I wanted was casters in those four holes but I didn''t want to pay up to $75 more for a "chair" base for my ball. So, I contacted Isokinetics to ask if they sold casters for this base... it seems as though it is designed for casters with the existing four holes. Their answer was no, they didn''t offer that accessory.
So, I headed down to my local Home Depot to buy four light duty, ball-bearing casters... some bolts and hardware, all costing less than $14 and added them to the base. Voila, I had the more reasonably priced ball chair base that I wanted in the first place.
(I''ve posted a photo of the modified base on the product page.)

not much to review, it sits on the floor and holds an exercise ball. My wife wanted the 65cm ball, this base is a little large and allows the ball to rock back and forth a little,..... it still works.Read Best Reviews of Isokinetics Inc. Brand Exercise Ball Base Here
Nothing fancy, does what it''s supposed to do. This works well with my 75cm ball. Smaller and you may have issues. The base is good to use with a 75cm ball as a desk chair! I''m 5'' 10" and it''s perfect.Want Isokinetics Inc. Brand Exercise Ball Base Discount?
This is actually a really cool device because now my exercise ball doesn''t roll all over the place. I use my ball at work as my desk chair and before I had the base I was constantly rolling all over. Before I got the base, it was difficult to sit cross-legged on my ball, although the rest of the office staff got a kick out of me falling heels over head. Now I can sit comfortably and with ease (see customer image for an in-use photo).Another neat thing about it is that there are hole in which I could hook up resistance weights hooked on cords so it keeps everything organised and handy.
