This was just what I was looking for. They fit perfectly and are comfortable. There are two little pockets too which are OK.

Very lightweight, comfortable, and (so far) durable. It''s hard to find shorts with built-in compression-style lining most running shorts have wedgie-inducing mesh. After buying a "trial" pair of these shorts, I ordered 4 more pairs when you find something of this high quality and comfort, you want to have a few extra.

Only caveat: the lining is "compression-style", but is definitely NOT true compression shorts. The lining is snug and comfortable, but nowhere near snug enough to function as true compression shorts. This may be good or bad for you, depending on what you''re looking for.

I''m in the military, so run frequently. Up to now, I''ve not found a running short (the issue PT shorts are terrible) that was comfortable, breathable and the right length to not A)bind up or B)get me arrested for indecent exposure. These shorts are great heavy enough to stave off morning chill without resorting to long pants, but light enough to be comfy in the summer. Very good choice for training and general physical activity. The pockets on the hips have velcro closures, but are too small to really be useful for much more than keys. Overall, I highly recommend these shorts and plan to buy a couple more pairs.

I have been looking for a good pair of running shorts with the two in one feature for quite a while and finally picked these up. They breathe very well, are cool and light, and just the right length. These make an excellent pair of running/day hiking shorts, and I am going to buy another pair. In my experience they are pretty true to the size specified in the chart.
