Years ago, I had an abdominal roller, and it had resistance bands connecting the handles to underneath a knee rest. I have never been able to find a replacement for that product, as I could only find the wheel with the handles, no resistance bands at all. This has resistance springs inside, which do just as good a job as the bands! If you are looking for an incredibly intense ab workout, do NOT hesitate to purchase this thing!

When I use this I really feel it the next day. It seems to work better than some of my core/abs workout videos, even if I only do a few reps. When I use it I typically use it for 3 reps of ten while watching TV. It hurts my lower back, but I think that''s because my back is shaped weird. It probably is fine if you straigthen your back properly and your back isn''t shaped as mine.
