The interlocking tiles have worked very well for my treadmill. I am actually ordering another set for my bike and bike trainer. This treadmill rocks. With my husband doing most of the work and me assisting only to hold a piece in place and holding up the treadmill upright so he could attach the bar that folds the treadmill. Took him 3 hours to complete; that includes moving it from garage to basement, and assembling. I love the touchscreen and being able to get on the internet. Shipping company damamged my product: a crack on the left side, otherwise it still works. Home Direct is the shipping company. I''ll be contacting the company about replacing the front panel being that I would like a product undamaged verses be damaging it. It''s an awesome treadmill. Worth spending the money
