As for using the thing. The arms adjust well, making it easy (and stable) when doing standing lifts from behind the bench. The bench adjusts(in approximate degrees)from 80 to 45 to 0 to -45. You can hit any group you want with those options.
It feels very solid. No shaking or groaning. The pad is particularly thin. This makes some of the exercises(reverse crunches and decline bench)a little bit more difficult because you also have to focus on stabilization but who can complain about adding some core training to your bench routine?
Overall I''m VERY impressed with this machine. I will point out, though, that I immediately took off the leg unit. I can''t vouch for that portion.

One of the main reason''s i chose this bench is because it ships APO. Its not the best bench in the world but its worth the price to say the least. Assembly was relatively painless. The Bolts, Nuts, Washers, and tools it came with were packaged Poorly. For example Bolt #32 Washer #28 and Nut # 6. Were scattered around ensuring you need to use the Ruler (Measuring Device) on the Directions to make sure you have the correct parts. The weight Rest is Kinda Wobbly, When returing the weight back to its resting position. Anything above 225 be extra Cautious. Other than that like i said it Ships APO and for the price its a good deal.Read Best Reviews of Competitor CB 729 Olympic Weight Bench Here
Its a good solid bench for the money. However be advised you have to have a 72" bar with this, it will not accept smaller bars. For less than $100 it''s good, but it''s not as good as I thought it would be. Putting it together was simple, so I don''t think I built it wrong. The thing with mine is that there is no flat position. It''s actually raised a little, about 5 degrees. Maybe that''s intentional, but I don''t like it. I wanted it to be perfectly flat. Also, the arms aren''t straight. In other words, they aren''t perfectly perpendicular to the rest of the bench. I really have to scoot down on the bench when pressing or the right arm will be in the way. Overall, it was worth what I payed for, but I''m still slightly disappointed.
