While finding myself in Chicago during a fall running season these pants made life wonderful. They can be worn with or without underwear and keep everything chaffe free for a good 7 to 10 miles. However, come winter time and agaist the formidable wind that Lake Michigan provides, these pants really shine. (underwear help the cold runs). They kept my legs warm and protected with a fairly snug feel. again, no underwear you will get sime chaffe ddown the road. Tgese have excellent mobility, extremely light feel and have been durable through the months.

I tested these tights this morning for the first time on a 4 mile trail run. The temperature was about 35° F. There were still some snow patches here and there, but the trails were mostly wet.I run with my Pearl Izumi Run Select Thermal Tights when it is really cold, and I run in shorts once the temp rises to over 45°F. I purchased these for these few days when it is too cold for shorts and too warm for the thermal tights like today. They performed fine and I have no problems to report. I am 6''2 and purchased size large. They fit well and don''t feel as tight as the thermal tights. The material is quite thin and light.
My only negative critique is a detail the waist band that is used to tighten the waist and prevent the tights from sliding down is not made from elastic material, which means for me that the pants either sit a bit too loose, or the waist band cuts into my waist and feels uncomfortable after a while.
