I also use the forearm trainer as an outlet for stress that occurs during the day. It has stood up to many hard days at the office as well as several business trips.
The only downside is that it has that lovely latex / rubber smell that clings to your hands.I''ve been climbing for about four months now and this really helped both in the gym and out on the rocks. Def. noticed a difference in forearm strength. Also helped with crimping.

I love this thing. Its not a soft as other reviewers might say. It definitely works out my forearms. I leave it in my car and squeeze my traffic frustrations away. Really resilient and tough. Very happy with the purchase. I''m old with bad elbows (medial epicondylitis). If I keep this thing in my car and sqeeze on it on the way to the crag my creaky old elbows don''t hurt so much and I find I can pretty much get right to the business of climbing without having to stand in line for warm up routes and without getting the dreadded "flash pump".It''s good for full-grip, but I don''t like it for working out single fingers or pairs of fingers. Great for fingertip workouts if you don''t have small hands. I''m a rock climber with small hands. Oh, well. I keep it in the car and use it while driving. Also, I haven''t noticed the latex smell that other reviewers have described, but my sense of smell isn''t the best.
