the ball is made of leather and a great addition to my workout. unlike some reviews of other balls this one had no offensive odor and it was round and well balanced.

The material is very nice on this, my intention was to use this product while performing Russian twist exercises. Boy was I a little too cocky, I regularly work out & am respectably strong but the 15lbs is way too heavy for any kind of core exercises. However it will be good for other exercises. Good product & you cant beat the price. Also as a novelty toy it was pretty hilarious watching my 20 month old Son try to pick up "His" new ball.

This medicine ball arrived pretty much as specified. The leather is a little slick as new leather can be, but I wasn''t expecting anything different. The weight feels good, and the blue and white colors look nice. Maybe looks shouldn''t matter to a medicine ball, but I think the colorful ball looks nice. Use will wear this one in nicely.

My only complaint is that there was a cut along the leather. I had used a box cutter to open the package, and because I can''t be sure that I didn''t cut the skin, I didn''t ask for a return. If the vendor shipped a ball with that cut, then the vendor did a bad thing. I don''t think that the cut will harm long-term performance. I may try to find a leather repair kit to fix the cut.

Please be advised that this is a great medicine ball. But it will not bounce and is very large, about the size of a seedless watermelon. It looks great and is well made. I just wish that I had known how big it was as it is not good for pushups or certain other exercise that use a smaller and bounceable medicine ball.
