as the previous review states, if you sit on it too long you will become uncomfortably sweaty. also, this ball & chair frame did not help MY posture at all. the back ''rest'' was pointless. if you decide sit against the back of the chair... the ball will roll uncomfortably forward, creating an akward and deep "ditch" but you probably won''t want to use the backrest for long due to it''s flimsy feel.
the frame itself looks yard-sale cheap. I do not believe this chair is worth more then $50 at the most ($30 for the frame $20 for the ball)
if you want something to sit on, the ball ALONE (or with a stabilizer)works so much better.
If you''re good, you can find a decent ball for $10 or a good one for $20.
as for my chair, you''ll find it offered for $20 bucks at my next yard sale. I use this chair for hours a day, Monday through Friday. I have a bad neck and upper back, and this chair REALLY helps! It does tend to make your butt muscles ache a bit, especially when you first get it. The first month I had it, I would switch back and forth between this chair and my regular chair until I built up the butt muscles. I recommended it to many people.

The ball itself is great, all of the pieces were delivered in a timely manner.... but...This chair refuses to stay assembled! The bolts keep falling out, the chair squeaks and creaks and feels very unstable at all times. I have resorted to sitting on the ball alone. I would not buy this product again.

I''ve had this chair for a while. It''s junk! The joint between the legs and the swivel/frame is loose, so in addition to the instability of the ball, the whole chair wobbles in my case, the frame moves about 8" in all directions from center when sitting on it, it''s that loose. No apparent way to adjust or fix. This is way beyond the desired wobble of the ball itself. It doesn''t appear to be well made. I wish I had returned it while in warranty. I just love this chair! I use it for my desk chair at work, 50+ hours a week, constantly at the computer. I''ve been using it for nearly a year and my lower back problems are no longer bothered at all by the long hours of sitting. The cushion on your "seat" is adjustable by how much you inflate the ball. If you inflate fully and it''s too firm, let a little air out for a softer, more cushy seat.
The back rest is not meant to lean against....just to occasionally lightly touch your back and encourage proper posture. With this chair, I''m much more likely to sit up straight with good posture -for which my lower back is very grateful! The ergonomic chairs I''ve used before have left me feeling so stiff and in so much pain at the end of the work day, I couldn''t do anything after work. Now at the end of the day, my back doesn''t hurt, and I feel like I''ve been working my core...not to the point of soreness...just strengthening it.
Other people at my office have purchased these chairs and love them as well.
