Shock Doctor Women''s Loose Hockey Short with Pelvic Protector

Shock Doctor Women''s Loose Hockey Short with Pelvic ProtectorI hear lots of women in the locker room complain about uncomfortable "hockey jocks" but these shorts are totally comfortable. I feel well-protected and they hold my socks up very securely. The only problem with them is that they are sized small, so I had to send mine back for a larger size. I wear size 8-10 pants and had to order size large.

I bought a pair of the Shock Doctor Women''s Loose Hockey Short with Pelvic Protector. I bought the largest size for comfort. I could not even get them on close to my rear, forget my waist. A friend that came to visit wears a Medium. She almost didn''t get the XXL on. Once she did get them on it was like she was wearing the compression shorts.

Now I''m stuck with a useless pair of shorts. If I want to use the cup I''ll have to make my own shorts.

These shorts are great, but run quite small, so be sure to buy them at least one size larger than you would think. I wear a size 10 women''s pants, and the XL in these shorts is almost too small. Otherwise, a great product!

I have three pairs of these shorts and enjoy them very much. They are very comfortable and they do a great job of holding up my socks! However, they do run small. I read another review on this site (Amazon) where someone else mentioned that they run small (Thank you!), so I went to Shock Doctor''s website to look at their sizing chart. The only thing I don''t like is how cheaply made the protector is; however, this is the only one I''ve ever seen so I don''t know if that''s normal for female protective devices...?

This item does well with doing it''s job.

Takes a while to get used to, but not that uncomfortable.

The foam/plastic piece seems a little flimsy, but no problems yet.
