I bought these bags specifically because a review said they do not leak, this is not accurate. I filled with "play sand" and had to wrap the whole thing with duct tape to stop sand spillage.

I purchased these for photo studio weights to provide ballast to tripods and light stands. Each one will hold a LOT more sand than I need, so I load them up and roll them to the size I need. This makes them very solid and provides a cushioned exterior covering to help hold them balanced in place.

The description says it will not leak sand. That is simply not true I had to double bag to make sure that it doesn''t leak sand. Also the bags that came look a lot different than the picture they were white not olive. So it is possible that I''m reviewing a different product because the seller was not honest. Anyway next time I will just go and buy sand at Home Depot they have much better bags which you get for free when buying the sand.

I used these bags to fortify a section of our pond that beavers destroyed and after a month the bags were eaten by the beavers. I wasnt very happy about what happened and would recommend that in the future these bags are made to taste putrid to ward off animals. Otherwise, seems to be an okay bag.
