I picked up these tights because i was looking for some knee and quadricep support while running. The 3/4 length sits just below the knee and the fit feels really tight and compressed yet comfortable at the same time. The fabric is a smooth and slightly shiny spandex unlike the "grabby" velcro affect that most cold gear tights have. They are pretty thick and well constructed so the $65 price tag is fairly well justified.
