Tech4o Accelerator Women''s Fitness - Watch (Black Iris)

Tech4o Accelerator Women''s Fitness - WatchI love this watch! It is very nice and user friendly. I was able to set it up in no time and use it to accurately track my running pathways. It was an added bonus that you can set it up in regular time or military time. This is extremely handy for me since I am a night shift nurse so it doubles as a great watch for work. Would buy this over again if I had the choice!!!

I just got this watch, so maybe my opinion will change, but at the moment I''m disappointed. Setup was straightforward, and step counting seems accurate when running, but steps are not counted at all when walking. I adjusted the sensitivity to the highest level, and it still does not register a step when I am walking unless I''m wildly flailing my arms. I had hoped this watch would help me get a sense of the number of steps I walk in a typical workday, and I now realize that will not be possible.

That being said, if you''re a runner, this is probably a good purchase. It''s less ugly than most athletic watches anyway!

I am a new exercise fanatic and wanted a watch rather than a clip on pedometer (that always fell off). I had a hard time callibrating this watch at first...but after I did I noticed that my stride length seemed a little longer than usual, so I ended up manually changing it to track my distance a little better. Other than that it is easy to use once you remember which buttons to push and in what order! It''s comfortable and not too bad looking. Since this is my first fitness watch, I can''t compare it to any others, but for the price it seems to work for my needs.

1. Pretty comfy to wear -nice and light without feeling like cheap plastic.

2. The band hasn''t comformed to my wrist as most do, but that may come over time. I found the band to run a little smaller than usual for a women''s watch. As long as it fits, a shorter-than-usual ''tail'' is much better than the ''tail'' that keeps flipping out of the catch loop and snagging on items! May be more suited to the thin, endurance athlete moreso than a more muscular or thick-wristed person (I just made that up, though. I don''t know.)

3. Backlight: Personal preference, but I wish it had an immediate ''ON'' when you press the button. You have to hold it a bit before it comes on briefly...it''s only annoying because the light button is on the far top left of the watch (if wearing on left wrist) -so it''s in the most awkward position to have to hold. Not a big deal, but it prevents a quick glance at the watch in low light!

4. Navigation: Pretty good just takes a little getting used to, which is fair for the features it provides.

5. Timer feature: I wasn''t sure about this feature -I was a little surprised. It has a neat little feature that allows consecutive timing events, whereby you can set, say, an ''on'' cycle and go directly into an ''off'' cycle. As an example, I work in healthcare where a patient may have a treatment for 15 mins, and then rest for 45 mins. At first, I thought I had set up the watch with 2 timer options -a 15 min timer OR a 45 min timer. In actuality, it is a chained timer. Once the initial timer of 15mins elapsed and is reset, it immediately goes into the 45min timer. Quite handy! Of course you can set the durations to suit your needs. (I hadn''t had a watch that did that, so I quite appreciate that feature.)

So overall, I''m quite happy with the purchase! I''ll see how durable it is. I anticipated, for some reason, the buttons to be cheap and dodgy, but so far they''re very good! I''ve had it maybe 3 weeks, wearing it 24-7. At this stage, I''d buy this watch again!

I am in love with this watch. I wear it every day to work. I''m a veterinarian and am sometimes on call in the middle of the night so the 24 hour clock and the large seconds display are infinitely helpful. I also wear it on my nightly runs and it does a fantastic job of tracking my distance and speed. It was super easy to calibrate (I used a track, but you could just as easily use a treadmill) and as an added bonus is actually cute and comfortable to wear. The instructional booklet is idiot-proof (no offense to the idiots that previously posted poor reviews about the instructions) with pictures and simple language. The best watch I''ve had in a long time, especially for the price. I''d buy it in every color.
