CrossFit 41" Loop Resistance Band by Body-Bands

I bought this for my Inanity: Asylum work outs. I liked working out at heavier weights when weight lifting was more in my work out regimen so I thought I would like a heavier band. I can use this for most of the workouts in Insanity, however, this does not cover some of the workouts which require the smaller bands. If Insanity is what you are needing the band(s) for I suggest buying a package of the smaller one''s as you will need those for a number of the workouts. This type of band is also not the one they use in Insanity as they use the bands that have handles and is more like a stretchy jump rope. This one is a large rubber band with no handles. You can modify your workouts to match, more or less, the workouts on the Asylum regimen but it would be easier to buy the one''s with the handles.

However, I do think that this works well, that if you aren''t doing a specific Insanity workout that it would be great. It is strong, does the job, and easy to store. I chose the bands rather than the dumb bells or the singular adjustable dumb bell because of the cost. It is still cheaper but if you are doing the Asylum workouts you will have to buy more bands.

I use this for exercising my upper body. I like it because it takes up no room. I have a rotary cup injury that I am working on. This maybe a little too much for not but I still use it for some exercises.

I''ve used many bands before as I''m a personal trainer. However I''ve never used Body Bands brand before. I never will again the product literally snapped after using it three times. Which thank god my client didn''t get injured from. I find this product to be down right dangerous and would recommend for safety stay away from it.

I bought this band for personal use to up the intensity when I work out at my university''s student recreation center. I had used these at a boot camp and loved the added tension, so I was already sure of what size and thickness I wanted in the band. It works as well as I remember, and I am confident it will maintain its quality for some time.
