Pure Fitness Flat Bench

Recently I was looking for a decent weight bench to add to my home gym. I did not want to spend a lot of money, but did not want to buy some garbage that would fall apart on my with usage. I went with this bench due to the reviews, and the fact it was under a hundred dollars. Other benches were around fifty to sixty but there were some significant complaints about quality (parts missing, failures and the like).

Assembly was a snap it took a few minutes and the hardware was easily found in its own blister pack with everything needed except for wrench/socket. As an aside you should never expect a product to come with tools to put it together; everyone should own at least a basic wrench and/or socket set. Every part seemed to be good quality; no defects in any of the parts. The padded board seems to be sturdy and well-made. It is that nice medium level of padding, not to fluffy and not too firm. The stitching is robust and I think this thing will last for quite a while.

In a nutshell if you''re looking at a basic bench to do everything except heavy presses (max weight limit is 400 this includes yourself) then I would recommend it.

This is a fine bench; it was very simple to assemble and seems quite sturdy. The padding on the top is not so soft that it moves under my weight, but, at the same time, it is not so hard that it is uncomfortable. The wheels on the legs seem a bit unnecessary on a bench this size, but they certainly don''t get in the way. In fact, the wheels don''t even have to be installed, so I can''t hold their inclusion in this product against the product itself.

The only reason I give this product a four star rating is that it only holds a maximum of 400 pounds. I''m close to 200 pounds, so I can only work with a little over 200 pounds before I hit this bench''s limit. I realize that this is normal for a bench in this price range, but I still wish it could handle more weight.

Over all, I still consider this bench to be a very good product.

it''s a really good weight bench for dumbell exercises and something to put your feet on for push-ups and etc. It doesn''t wobble because it''s got 3 arms and is a good height. It doesn''t say in the additional info but the max weight is 400lbs including all the extra weights you use, so just a heads up.

i recently purchased this bench and after having some issues with the bolts i tried to contact the company using the numbers in the owners manual. NONE of the numbers are correct! one number led to an apartment building, another number went to a mans cell phone and the third number rang then...nothing..just nothing...? i suggest if you buy a product from this company make sure youre not going to need to contact them.

Good value for the money, was shipped & delivered promptly. Went together easily (you''ll need either metric sockets or a couple of crescent wrenches) & is very sturdy when completed. One minor drawback to this bench, it could have been about 6" longer to be perfect. If you want to lay down & do dumbell flyes or presses, you''ll have to sit on the very edge on one end, then still slide down a little so your head doesn''t hang over. I''m only 5''10" so a really tall person maybe would have greater difficulty using this bench.
