I like the quality and I use these rings to work out about every other day and I have kids in my house that abuse these rings everyday. They are sturdy, don''t slip, and the metal lock did not bend on me. The metal lock is tricky and since I threw the instructions away, if the rope got unhooked somehow I would have to tinker for a while to get the lock working because it has to be set up right.Read Best Reviews of Ultimate Body Press Gymnastic Rings Here
I actually bought these gym rings from the manufacturer''s website for approx $40. These were the cheapest rings I could find. The rings are made with 2 separate pieces, so they might split in the long term. Also, one of the cam buckles bent while using it for ring dips, and I now have to ensure that it''s secured as it sometimes fails to lock properly. So far the buckle doesn''t slip as long as I verify it''s locked by pulling on it slightly.Overall, you get what you pay for. Great use for short term but I don''t expect these to last for a year.We purchased these gymnastic rings for a way to do pull ups at home. We hang them over an overhead beam in our apartment. You can raise and lower them easily for different exercises. The rings themselves are very nice. They are made of a very hard plastic and they are heavier than they look which gives them a good feel in your hand. They are comfortable for rings dips. Other products will give you strap burn but these do not. The buckle is heavy duty. These are the same buckles and straps used for motorcycle tie downs which are usually rated for over 1000 lbs. I have seen similar rings advertised for much more so we were happy to find a good deal and have them workout so well. Would recommend them to others.
