I bought these running shorts in June and have used them several times. These are comfortable and the size description seems to be spot on for me. I really like the built in compression short.

There is a small pocket in the middle of the back of the short, Just enough for a key fob. Only a small negative is that I wish it had two front pockets otherwise a great product and I would buy antoher.

These appeared to be high-quality product, but I had to return them as they did not fit. The sizes seem to run a little smaller than other brands.

The shorts are nicely styled, well built and I really like the back center zippered pocket.

On the negative side, while the sizing was spot on, the compression short does not have enough stretch to it. As a result the fit feels off a bit. Such a shame because otherwise I''d really like this short.

Have run in previous years'' Maverick shorts and loved them, primarily because of the length of the inner liner and the roominess of the shorts overall. The new model''s liner is shorter, and the roominess has disappeared. I am responsible for some of the tighter fit, but overall, the short has become a much more snug fit.

These shorts are well styled, they just are not the greatest for distance, a bit too tight. I can''t take the blame either. I am a size 31, 6''1" and 158 lbs, I purchased a size medium as I always do with Izumi. Just found the compression liner to be a bit too "compressing". I really like the length and the overall cut and the back pocket and zipper work great. I still wear them for shorter runs when it''s on the colder side. Unfortunately, they just don''t make the cut as a favorite pair that goes to the Izumi Men''s Infinity Short.
