I had the machine professionally assembled for $160 which was worth my time and saved energy. The only draw-back I see which isn''t minor is that when bench-pressing the bar sometimes sticks on one side or the other and the friction can impact fluidity of the movement of the bar which is a big concern as you move up in weigh b/c it feels like someone''s spotting you by adding resistance mid-movement. I think rounded poles instead of squared frame might be a better design and potentially eliminate the occasional friction. The rest of the machine is solid. I''ve purchased additional accessories like tricept pull-down triangle, low row cable pull e.t.c. which add to the machine. You should know that the bench press bar on which you place your weights is 1 inch in diameter so olympic weight plates with 2 inch holes are a loose fit and require securing to eliminate rattle.
