After assembly, it worked great. It''s very sturdy and stable. I keep it tucked in a corner of my living room and have at it during commercials.
Some suggestions: Although I don''t mind the yellow, I would have liked it in black. Also, the hand pads could extend the full length of the horizontal top and the feet could be of a better rubber instead of plastic caps. Also, no reason why it can''t be about 6 inches taller for us taller folks at 5''10".
Not a bad piece of exercise equipment, overall. The Equalizer is my favourite strength training tool. I love how portable it is I can use it in my living room or my backyard, so I never have to miss a workout! There are endless variations on exercises to increase upper body and core strength dips, tricep extensions, pull-ups and push-ups included. You can progress through the exercises according to your own fitness level, making the product ideal for beginners or those who are more advanced. This video is a great demonstration of the product and its versatility:Awesome for CrossFit workouts. Mobile enough to take with you to the track or while traveling. Provides an all over workout that can be scaled to any person. I can do gymnastic movements from dips, handstands, and rows. My wife, who is working to do real pushups, can do assisted pushups and rows instead of pullups. A great tool for exercise. Great workout for rehab, beginners, or those with limitations and special concerns. Not for advanced exercisers. Nice for home and they travel well for my in-home personal training business.
