Deluxe Folding Aeromat

My personal trainer, who has published several books on fitness and owns his own studio, insisted I get this specific mat. I had researched and found other mats that cost less and had better reviews, but he insisted on this one. Well, I really love it. The 3 sections fold up nicely and it has a velcro latch and handles making it easy to store and carry. It is light weight, but well made. It is an inch thick and on the firm side. He wanted it to support my back and also be used to buffer jumping rope. Other reviewers for other mats talked about how cushy their mats were and that they used them sometimes to sleep on. Well, this mat is not cushy, but it does have a give to it. I wouldn''t recommend sleeping on it, as it is a tad too firm. It does support and protect your back. Others complained about their mats not being wide or long enough, again this mat fits the bill. There is no odor to mine and I feel it is quite comfortable to work out on. It can be stored under a bed or behind a couch.

I wanted a mat that was a) black; b) folding; c) handled; d) comfortably cushioned, yet supportive and e) big. This mat is f) all of the above! I not only use it for exercise, I also use it (covered, to protect it from sun) for a little light sunbathing. It folds up easily for carrying or storage. Exactly what I was looking for, and for once I didn''t have to compromise!

I am very dissatisfied with this product. I was familiar with Aeromat from my gym and thought I was getting the same quality with the deluxe folding mat that I ordered. It is very hard for a floor mat and quite uncomfortable. I mistakenly threw away the packaging prior to using the mat for the first time. Had I not done that I would have returned this item right away.
