This thing is amazing. I got if for everyday life in the Phoenix heat. I buy all sorts of things to keep me cool in this desert and this is the first one that has me saying "ahhhh". I got an extra one for my GTFO backpack, as it has many uses, including emergency heat stroke. It even works on the dogs :)

I live and play golf in Palm Desert, Ca where the temperatures can sore to 120 degrees. I had never heard of this product. I accompanied my wife to a local Bed, Bath and Beyond (if I had known about this item, I would have bought it on Amazon) and went ahead and purchased a blue one.

Generally, when temps go over 90, I usually play only 9 holes. By the time I am at the 7th hole, I am exhausted and ready to quit. Today it was 97 degrees and I felt comfortable playing 9 holes. With the chilly pad I could have played 18. You feel like your core temperature is cooler. You feel more comfortable, you are not drinking as much liquid as you usually do because you are not sweating as much as usual. The pad actually feels like it has been dipped in ice water. It is not wet, just cold to the touch. Now, if it could cut a couple of strokes from my game, I would buy a gross.
