Delivery was very quick. The seat goes way up to the front, so a shorter person can find a comfortable position. (It also goes way back, so a tall person will ride comfortably, also.) I find that I usually am holding on to the handles next to the seat as that is where the heart rate monitor contacts are. The seat feels good on the back good lumbar support. And it is nicely padded. I can plug in my iPod (or any mp3 player) and it has speakers in the console. Much better than wearing headphones! It has volume controls on the display panel. It is quite heavy, but has little wheels in the front so you can pick up the rear and wheel it around. The UPS guy was happy that he did not have to negotiate any steps to get the big, heavy box inside I put the bike in my attached garage. So far I have no complaints at all and enjoyed my first ride. It took about 2 hours to assemble, and they give you all the hardware and tools 4 Allen wrenches that you need to assemble it. The only thing they do not supply is an adjustable wrench to tighten the pedals. It seems to be very sturdy and steady. I don''t think I could tip it over if I tried. The display is large enough to read without glasses, and the controls are large enough to see easily. The display uses 110v, rather than batteries. It comes with a power pack actually a battery eliminator. They say to unplug it when not in use. That seems to be my only complaint, and it is a very, very minor inconvenience. All-in-all, a great product.

Before purchasing this excercise bike I read alot of the reviews of bikes in this price range and the Proform really had the most positive reviews of any bike in the near $400 range. After using the bike several times I am really surprised that no one pointed out this major design flaw. The pedals are placed too close to the center console. My shoes and legs are constantly coming in to contact with the center console. I don''t see a real easy fix to this problem unless I am missing something. Oh and don''t think I''m 350 plus pounds and have tree trunks for legs. 5''11" 205 pounds, and pretty average legs. I have used quite a few recumbant bikes at health clubs and I have never encountered this problem.
Well since I can''t disassemble it and box it back up I guess I will just have to deal with the annoyance of constantly hitting the center console during work outs.
I am wishing I went with the Schwin which was my second choice. Like I said I am really surprised no one else has enountered this with all the postive reviews out there.

The Proform 315 CSX Bike is preforming well and I would endorse it as a quality product. It gives you a good workout and does just what it was listed to do. The only problem I had with the delivery is that the box had gotten open and was resealed. The only thing missing was the assembly instruction. With a quick call to the company they sent those to me within 3 days. They also gave me the option for faxing them. I am enjoying my new bike.

Did a quick 10 miles this morning love it.
I had a small issue with the front plastic area that appeared to break in shipping although it didn''t matter since I needed to screw a front cover over that area.
Putting this thing together is a chore to say the least. Make sure you have a crescent wrench handy for the pedals. It''s best not to remove the screws until you need them otherwise you''ll waste time trying to figure out which are what. The seat screws are another pain since you don''t have much room for the included allen wrench to turn. Be careful with the computer plugs you''ll use that black tie wire to pull it UP and THROUGH the forward upright bar that the handlebars will attach to.
When you''re ready >start peddling>Push ENTER>Peddle>Push DISPLAY 3 times (gives best info screen). Set resistance to about 3 for flat regular type street riding. Works great for long distance.
