Body Bar Ready-Set-Superset DvdBought so I could get some ideas on things to do with the body bar, and thats about all I can use it for. The workouts are difficult and fast. If you are in great shape already then it is fine, otherwise I would not recommend except for exercise ideas.

I have loved Keli Roberts exercise videos and DVD''s for years. This is a very good, low impact workout. She shows different variations of each exercise so you can choose which is best for you.

Instructor Keli will lead you through a 50 minute workout with a step (she stacks it high) a Body Bar (I use a 6 lb) and a mat for a brief ab workout. For me, I get quite winded with this workout, which I want! Keli''s choreography is very simple as you do lunges and squats with the step. You will work your legs the whole way through. You''ll also combine upper body with the lower body. Just with other DVDs, modify any which way you wish, add here, subtract there and you''ll target your goal.

This DVD came in the mail today and it was exactly what I was looking for in terms of resistance training. My only disappointment (as to why I did not give it 5 stars) is that I was expecting more of the Step aerobic component. Nevertheless, this is a winner. I would rate the workout as intermediate if you use a heavier bar...of course a lighter bar = lower impact. My overall fitness level is intermediate.

I like using the Body Bar (one of the best exercise tools) and I have used all of the Body Bar DVD''s (Out of the BB DVDs I have, I like Power & Grace and Explode the best). I''d rate this intermediate-advanced level; the moves are challenging and well choreographed (you can use the modified move to start with which is easier). You can tell Mindy put some thoughts into the moves. I have this for 8 months and still enjoyed it. If you like Mindy or Keli, you''d love this DVD.
