I purchased this item in a store and tried it the very next morning. The big plus for me was that I could download the workout audio to my iPod Nano! Its best to work out with the video a few times to get the idea and then if you want to you can move onto your own workouts.

The ball itself is INCREDIBLY durable. I have the 7 lb and my full grown Golden Retreiver keeps thinking its his he actually picks it up when I am not looking, using his teeth and everything, and drags it across the floor to me. There are zero marks on my ball at all or punctures.

If there were an option to order a few other of the tiny workout CD''s to go with my ball I would love that. That is my only reason for going with the 4 stars. It is designed to work your "whole body" but I don''t feel like it accomplishes that without a bit more variety.

I love that this weighted ball is made of soft,pliable non-toxic plastic. Great physical size for women''s hands, however I would prefer that the Savasa weighted balls came in standard weighted ball sizes (ie: 8lbs instead of 7lb). I also have the Savasa body ball and love that too. Both are durable and attractive (yes, this is important when your workout room shares space with your living room!)

I do foster care and this was a perfect addition for my sensory room. It is just the right size for kids and the color is fun! Not too heavy, but provides just the right amount of resistance.

UPDATE: the seller I purchased from is no longer listed as a seller. I would recommend this product if new and functional. The ball seems durable, texture is grippy, and measures approximately 5" wide/tall. That''s a bit large for my smaller hands, but workable. It would probably be a perfect size for most people.

The weight is fine, I rather like it, other than damages. It''s about 5" wide and seems durable(I got the purple one). However, despite ordering a NEW ball from the seller shown here, my ball arrived with scratches on the front of it and all over the lotus. This was frustrating, but I could have overlooked it for utility''s sake.

The REAL clincher was my "dvd". It was a cracked, scratched MINI DISC. Perhaps this disc is a dvd that is smaller, I can''t tell since it''s cracked and won''t work in my player. I was very annoyed. It seems obvious that the disc was damaged by someone, not in shipping. The ball is obviously used.

The buyer did contact me after I told them about my concerns. They didn''t have any more of these items in stock. It was suggested that I have Amazon pay for the items to be return shipped and receive a refund. I would not trust this seller listed, buy from another individual under "Used" or "New". The product itself is fine.
