Timex Unisex T5K521 Ironman Traditional 30-Lap Black Resin Strap Watch

My son needed a new watch now that he''s in middle school. The color is great. He never takes it off (sleeps with it, showers with it) and it''s been an excellent purchase. Can''t go wrong with a Timex Ironman. I''ve been wearing the female versions for years. This watch is easy to use, easy to set alarm and clock too.

Prompt delivery. Item arrived as described. As a nurse this watch has many useful features. It has the 12 or 24 hour time set. It displays the time & seconds, day of week, month & date. Has the Indiglo feature. It has 3 alarm settings and a chronograph. These are the features I use often when on the job. Some other features include a timer for lap times. I assume these features are for athletes such as runners or swimmers. The only drawbacks for me were that the chronograph and alarm are a bit tricky to access and set. Often times when I press the buttons on the side, it takes me directly to the timer & laps feature. Even when I read the directions, I still has difficulty remembering which buttons to press for the correct use of features. Other than that, the watch is water proof and fits comfortably for the most part.

I like the watch. It performs as advertised. The body of the watch is mid-sized. The functions are laid out differently than my previous ironman watches, but it works fine once I got used to it.

Looks fantastic, works very well. Also, the timer has a feature that lets you repeat an interval, and the watch will beep every minute or 30 seconds or whatever. This is great for simple interval workouts.

It is a great watch for a 11 yr old. Has cool alarms that are loud. It made my son extremely happy. Now he is able to make it home in time and get in bed on time too :-)
