Weider 55cm Stability Ball

Weider 55cm Stability BallI''m 5''4" so the size I bought (55cm) should be perfect, however after blowing it up I think I could have used a larger one. This one seems to be fully blown up but still feels a little squishy for my liking. Oh and it''s a lint magnet. I would get one that is more matte in texture next time.

It is an overall good product. I went to blow it up and it was fast by mouth then finished it up with the pump... Its work really good, and Its only good for small short people... the highs for the balls are 55 or 5''0 and below, 65 for 5''0 to 5''5 and 75 for for 5''5 and up... This is a really good item and works really good and last a long time... Plus it keeps the kids busy lol...

I would never buy anything from Weider again! I am a elementary school teacher and bought 30-55 inch stability balls, with my own money, for my students to sit on. (Research has shown a multitude of reasons to sit on stability balls.) We have used them for just over 10 months and I have had 10 pop! I have emailed the company 5 times with no response. I have called 3 times and put on hold for 30 minutes, before hanging up. I finally talked to someone last Thursday who took my name and phone number and assured me someone would be in contact. Well, it is now Tuesday evening and no one has contacted me. BAD PRODUCT, WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Not the most amazing stability ball ever, but it''s so cheap! A good supplement to my home workout gear collection.

Here''s my thoughts:

It''s hard to tell when it''s "completely" blown up. The texture of the ball is like a thick balloon, and is extremely flexible... and so the product insert recommends that you measure the circumference to check. Have you ever tried to measure a giant ball with a measuring tape? It''s almost impossible if you live by yourself. I mention the texture of the material it''s made out of here because some stability balls are made out of a more firmer material that doesn''t stretch as much, so it''s easier to tell when you''re "done" inflating the ball.

The ball is pretty squishy, even if you do manage to get it inflated properly. I don''t mind this, but if you wanted a firm-ish ball for physical therapy, I''d recommend investing in a much more expensive one.

It seems that the ball loses air (over time) a little more quickly than the ball I used to have a few years ago (an overpriced gaiam one that I gave away). But you should be reinflating your ball regularly anyway, so this shouldn''t matter.

Overall, it''s an okay ball, works for what I bought it for, and it''s a good buy for the price.

Bought this as a present from Santa for our 7 year old. He wanted a Big Yellow Ball and this seemed to fit the bill. I thought since it was an exercising ball, it would endure his 60lbs weight. The ball popped within just a few days of my son receiving it.
