The picture doesn''t show that the seams are zig-zagged. I would have preferred to have a regular seam as coverup for bathing suit, they are good to wear under skirts instead of a slip. But I don''t like the "infinished look""

These shorts are a nice fabric and I wish I could rate them higher, but unfortunately, the crotch area is comprised of four seams, so I found them very uncomfortable. My other workout/hiking shorts have either a cotton or gusseted crotch which apparently makes a huge difference, at least in my opinion. I was looking for shorts that were long enough to keep my thighs from chafing while I run, but confortable enough for the summer. I believe that I''ve found both of these qualities in these shorts! (I have not run in them yet, but I''m looking forward to it!) They are thin and feel very breathable. I ordered a small, (36-37 waist) even though I''m around the medium size (37-38) They are comfortable though not too tight and so if/when I lose an inch or two I will still be able to use these. I ordered these with 3 other items, all prime shipping (2 day) and I got these shorts before receiving the other items. I honestly think I''ll be getting these in more colors. I usually only buy items that have a lot of reviews, prime shipping, or a bestseller. Since these shorts are cheaper than the others (including shipping) and have better reviews (2, now 3) I would take my chance with them and I''m glad I did!.
