This shirt is a nice thin material with lots of venting across the shoulders and upper back but with a sports bra underneath it''s plenty of coverage. It runs a bit small because it''s supposed to be snug, I went up a size and am very happy with how it fits. I wore it (with a tank underneath) for a century bike ride, I''ve worn it running, and to step classes at the gym and it worked great for all those activities it doesn''t ride up and the fabric helps keep me cooler.
