CW-X Women''s Insulator Stabilyx Tights

CW-X Women''s Insulator Stabilyx Tights, Black/Periwinkle, Smallthese are great warm, supportive, well-fitting... except for the fact that the inseam is not gusseted. This means that four pieces of material meet right in the inseam, and since the tights are strategically built to pull on certain panels through the length of the legs, there is a pressure point at the inseam that basically pulls up to become a wedge while running. needless to say, this is not ideal.

I got these recently and tried them on. After I struggled to get them on, I felt like they pinched the backs of my knees. I read from other reviews that people ran and didn''t notice the tights while running. I did, however. I am 5''2" and 125 pounds so I got the small. I run an average 40 miles per week. I also tried these out in 20 degree weather my thighs were freezing!! I have another pair of winter tights that are so much warmer. Also, the drawstring is frayed at the end, which seems sadly cheap for such expensive tights. If they didn''t pinch the backs of my knees and kept me warmer, I''d keep them. I might try another set of tights for the winter. A shame, because I really wanted to have tights that could support my knees which sometimes hurts after runs.

I purchased these tights around the new year. Living in Wisconsin and being an avid runner and skiier, I needed a product that would insulate and grant a good range of motion. These tights fulfilled that, and more. The support web truly keeps your joints and muscles aligned and supported in a way that you can feel just by putting the tights on. After doing a hard, sprint-repeat workout, my legs still felt fresh and like they had more in them.

The insulation and wind-stopping panels are fantastic. I am extremely warm-blooded, but because of the nanotechnology that regulates temperature, I have never once over-heated in these tights. I have also skiied in open plains with 30+ mph winds, and not even felt a breeze on my legs due to the wind-blocking fabric.

Some have said the tights ran small, however, they need to be fitted in order for the support web to do its magic. I''m 5''4", 125lbs, and wear a small. This definitely is not too small.

I highly recommend this product to outdoor athletes who need insulation and want to be on the edge of support technology. This is a great product at a well-worth-it price!

(Also, as some have noted, these tights are quite flattering because of the slimming support webbing.) :)

I have been training through the winter to get ready for half marathons in the early Spring but always felt like my tights were not sufficient for temperatures in the low to mid thirties...well got these on Thursday last week and tried them out on Sunday morning on the trail. Temps were in about 34 degrees to start and never got above 36 when I finished my 10 miles. I give them five stars and will definitely have them on standby for the half marathon in mid-March just in case....legs felt great and I was able to stay warm with just my base, turtleneck and a sweatshirt. :)

Wore this outside all winter, running in as low as 5 degrees outside. Never cold and my legs felt great the whole time. Highly recommended. On long runs, check the criss cross over the knee and make sure your tights haven''t slipped down.
