Lifeline USA Portable Power Jumper

Lifeline USA Portable Power JumperThese work great!! they come with an instructional dvd that is short! yes!! and it explains everything you need to know to get started. First off ive been using this for several weeks and have already noticed great improvement...they do the job! and they do it well...so for the pros: they hold up really well i have been using them to do push ups (which they work great for because the padding on them keeps the cables from digging into your back) and jumps with for the past several weeks and so far there has been no sign of wear on them. Also if something does happen to one of the cables it is a lot cheaper to replace the cables on this brand then others, they are only 11 dollars versus 20+ for some other brands models. And for the cons i only have one thing that i really don''t like.. the cushions on the bands slides up and down, so it can get really irritating when your in the middle of a workout trying to fix that, but you kinda get used to it overtime, and can keep it from happening, other than that they work great and would recommend them 100%!

This thing comes with a DVD... I haven''t opened it. Probably never will. I know what I want to do with this. So I won''t comment on any info in the DVD or any workout routines they have.

I just do hindu squats and jump squats with this. I''m 6''4" and I haven''t had a problem with the black cover sliding around. It''s always pretty tight across my shoulders. Maybe it slides for shorter folks when in the squatting position, but for me, no movement.

It appears well constructed. I''ll update if I notice any tears in the band. However, so far so good.

I''m 37 years old, this is by far the best tool for vertical jump training. I still love to Box Squat with bands, do weighted DB jumps and use Jumpsoles. But the PPJ is the most natural thing because it doesnt restrict any of your moviements and provides great resistance. I suggest you start off with just one band. Only use two bands once you get too strong for it. Any jump exercise you can think of, you can probably use the PPJ. I love doing Depth Jumps and Sprints with the PPJ!

I own many lifeline producs and am happy with all. The power jumper is no exception it''s well designed and can help you increase your verticle. I did not follow the hardcore training routine that it suggests in the training DVD (it is sold seperately but I think that it should be included with the power jumper) but felt like it helped my verticle a little. I am an avid basketball player that is getting a little older and while I was never a strong jumper I felt like this could give me a little bit of added spring. It did and if I used it more it would probably give better results.

I will say that I''m a fan of almost all Lifeline products (the ab wheel is the only exception as it is no different than any other ab wheel at several times the price).

The power jumper is certainly among the best of their offerings. It can be used for jump training, running training (with the exertion on the down step), a supine leg press, and other exercises.

As other reviewers have stated, the item only comes with two padded supports and they do have the tendency to shift around while using the power jumper.

Additionally, it has slots for three tubes which range from 10 lbs. 100 lbs. peak resistances in ten pound increments.
